    Gents

Just remember the Promotion Party on the Green shenanigans?
I dont think anyone should ORGANISE this; but should you all wish to head to the clubshop or pubs around the bush before setting off at 10am then who's to stop you?
It may well be that you've been to Westfield but now wish to try the Wembley Outlet Mall and as it's a lovely day are walking. A few people may need a google map if they are.

If anyone does it then enjoy. I certainly wont be there as I cant be walking for an hour unless I have my trusty hound with me.

See you on Engineers Way when you roll past the place I'll be plotted up from 11.00am onwards
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

#WALKTOWEMBLEY - QPR FANS TO WALK TO CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY-OFF FINAL

Be our 12th man and #WalkToWembley with your fellow QPR supporters ahead of Championship Play-Off Final against Derby County ...

QPR are back at Wembley next Saturday for the first time in 28 years, as Harry Redknapp's side go head-to-head with Derby County in the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final with a place in the Premier League at stake!

On our previous three visits to the home of English football in 1967, 1982 and 1986, thousands of you - the fans - have walked to Wembley and we, as a club, are encouraging you to do the same this time around.

R's fan Dan Rutherford and friends have come up with a route that is 5.6 miles long, starting at Loftus Road at 10.00am and arriving at Wembley at approximately midday, giving supporters plenty of time to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere around the stadium.

To register your interest in the #WalkToWembley, click HERE to join our official Facebook event group.

Speaking to www.qpr.co.uk, Rutherford said: “This is a great opportunity for QPR fans to embrace something which is unique to our club.

“This will be the fourth time in our history that we’ve walked to Wembley as one and we’d encourage as many supporters as possible to not only take part, but also to embrace the nostalgia and paraphernalia of past walks.”

QPR in the Community Trust – in their 20th year – will be represented on the ‘WalkToWembley, as well as representatives from the Story of QPR who will be filming on the day, so keep an eye out for their bucket collectors throughout the walk.

Be our 12th man on the road to Wembley …

*Supporters should note, the QPR Superstore will be open for business on the morning of the final (from 9.00am-12.00pm) for you to purchase all your essential Play-Off merchandise

hello, please note the club have nothing to do with organising the walk, these have always been organised by the fans, independently since 67, thanks

We don't 'walk' to Wembley.....we 'march'!

As for fans trying to organise this and claim the glory of organising it .... Leave off it will just happen!

Thanks Dan Rutherford for showing me how to get to Wembley

It sanitises the event, the club start liaising with the Babylon next thing you know it can only take place at such and such time on such and such route , no littering or drinking next thing you wish you'd taken the tube

Those who have posted earlier on this thread may well be doing that, which is not necessarily the same route as the one on the offy...

I remember walking back from Wembley in both '67 & after the reply in '82. Sorry to say that nowadays I'll be relying on the 92 bus!
