  • Andros Townsend

Just realised he isn't in the England squad or standby list, something must be going on that we know nothing about, but if all is well and we manage to go up, then we must go and get him?

He got injured a few weeks back and has had an operation, otherwise he would have been selected, as would Walcott. Those two would have given the option of extra pace and could be a big loss.

there is talk he could be let go by spurs in the summer - apparently newcastle and villa are very interested....if we did go up harry could have a big influence on a deal like that...would be a outstanding signing but really wouldnt understand spurs selling hiim..

What you don't know about is he's a massively overrated one trick pony. I enjoyed having him play for us but he's basically an Aldi Arjen Robben without the end product.

the. Kid needs a run of games, he is only young and will hopefully improve, remember Robben took time to reach his potential and they is no reason Townsend can't reach similar heights.

Even If we go up I think it will be difficult to sign him. He is regular at Spurs when fit.

So he was more productive for us than for Spurs in the Premiership....

well he saw a lot more of the ball as the rest of our side had given up by that point.

plus 12 games is a small sample size.
