  • Chances of general sale?

What does everyone think the odds are of the tickets for the final going on general sale?

I've seen the prices are pretty hefty so not sure if that might put certain members off.

I'm willing to fly from Sydney for it so the ticket prices don't seem too bad. Just need a ticket to go ahead and book a flight... Anyone willing to help with a ticket purchase? It would be greatly appreciated...

Chances of going to General Sale are about 99.9%.

They could sell 2 to EVERY S/T holder (9.5k) and still have thousands more left than was in the ground tonight.

No problem getting a ticket, anyone who wants one will get one IMO - I'd love to see 37,249 R's at Wembley, but I think we might fall just short of that, although £34k went to Cardiff.

The policy is a farce as its not just 2 per ST is it, they are allowing 4 per ST and member, before even contemplating general sale, which is pathetic.

                    You'll be fine Del.

ST holders and members are not going to buy 4 tickets just for the sake of it - they will buy what they need (I'm a member and I'm not planning to buy 4). It wouldn't matter if ST holders and members could buy 8 tickets each; if we have 35,000 fans who want to go to the game and 37,000 tickets, everybody gets a ticket. The key is that demand will probably not exceed our allocation, so I doubt if many (or any) will be disappointed.

Don't worry if you can't make it this time, we'll be back again in 28 years!

didn't sell out for the semi until general sale, so even with some daft policies I think at least 4k will reach general.

Hopefully they will, but it's annoying to have to wait so long before having the option. ST and members shouldn't need 4 each, so why drag it out so long.

Agree with this, season ticket holders having an option to purchase 4 is isolating those that don't have season tickets (whatever their reasons).

I live 160 miles away and get to games whenever I can, albeit generally away games, I've been to both Wigan and Homs & Away yet still may miss out.

My father and his wife had season tickets in SAR for as long as I can remember but she have her season ticket up after my father passed away. Although she still attends with myself when we can, theres a chance that way may miss out.

Reading posts on here, there are a number of supporters in a similar boat and a club with our size fanbase should not have a problem.

The people that think we'll struggle to sell out, that's ridiculous, we took 33,000 to Cardiff so 37,000 to wembley is easily achievable.

It's frustrating that with the ticketing policy a huge number of fans won't be qpr fans. They'll support Chelsea, Fulham and so on, but attending because they know people who can supply tickets - similar story at Cardiff!

as you can tell this has left a bitter taste in my mouth!
