Fair play to harry, especially the way he changed the game when it was going against us. The only thing I still dont agree on is hoilett, he won the penalty but his performance was by far the weakest...as said in another post if you watch the game back he still goves the ball away needless amounts of times and when in a good position he rarely picks the right ball....with morriosn on the bench he has to come back in the team over him in my opiono
yup he laid on a couple of breaks for Wigan single handed.
The real test for Harry is how to set up at Wembley. A very different challenge.
Yeah against a veryy different style and team in derby but personally was always worried about wigan but derby I believe we will have enough....they give opposition teams to many chances and if we can play a possesion game on wembleys big pitch I think we can furstrate them and certainly open them up
The starting lineup was pretty surprising given the absence of Ravel, but credit Harry for seeing something in Krancjar for this particular game. Niko was awesome, pretty much all over the field, and showed incredible grit by game's end. Ditto for Dunne who, looking tired the past six games or more, was a steadying influence in the back together with the Nedum. Big question ahead is whether to reinsert Ravel into a starting role, or keep today's lineup (plus possibly a healthier Traore) intact for Wembley.

Wembley's pitch is the same width as ours. FACT. Just more space round it.
I think they'll expect us to park up. The one thing they wont expect is for us to get forward in numbers quickly. It's a risk but 4-4-2 from the start might be worth a shout , 3-4-1-2 might be better suited against Derby. Key decision.
We've all lost a bit of natural life this season given the expectations we all had for QPR since the beginning, and Harry has certainly made that journey more maddening. But credit Harry tonight for the tactical shift to move into a more attacking mode after 20 minutes -- while Wigan displayed incredible grit on "foreign soil", QPR deserved to win this one.
Harry was first rate tonight. The poor performance from Morrison showed why Harry didn't play him (something's up with him....? ); changing to 442 by putting Doyle up front wouldn't have been possible had Doyle not been playing on the right; putting Yun on for Clint gave us some momentum; Bobby was immense; and Kransjar played his best game for us. Best performance of the season bar none. Everyone shone (even if O'Neil struggled a bit and we conceded a poor goal). No head dropped. Carroll? Keane? Looks like we might have found our team in time for Wembley. Cracking night. Off to bed happy as Larry.
