A fit bobby Z is a dangerous man indeed
I suggested we keep him in another thread yesterday but got shot down, coming off the bench he will do a job from the bench. He is now fit for the first time since he joined us, HR gets on my nerves but I have to confess, he played a blinder by saving BZ for this leg.

A special mention surely has to go to NED, the man was awesome.
The whole team were fantastic, so were all the fans.
Loved and hated every minute in equal measure.

all of em were great but i love the way bobby plays when he is on form - the way he dominates an opponent, like when he was holding one off in the area while the ball trickled to him, defender couldnt get even close to the ball, some special stuff there you just dont often see, an old master

From the States -- am hurting still from all the Rangers-fueled tension of that game, but wow. Bobby Z was awesome, Charlie was Mr. Clutch, and special credit belongs to Niko, Hoilett, the now toothy O'Neill, and (as much as I hate to admit it) Dunne who played a very steady game at the center of our defense when one more slip-up meant the end of the season. And credit Harry, as much as he's puzzled us all season with his decisions, for starting Niko ahead of Ravel (who has looked very unsure of himself the past two games).

And most of all, credit the Ranger fans who were never louder, or more supportive of their team. Was a sight to see!!!

              On to Wembley.

Old Skool fulham fan I worked said watch bZ closely, won't jump, looks disinterested because he has a major prob with left ankle. We are now seeing a fully fit bZ not a bZ playing for a contract, FACT

Gone from hating to loving the man in the space of a season, must've been playing while injured up until his return, holds the ball up well, links up with other players and can't stop mouthing off at the referee and opposition

Personally I'd give him a years extension to see how he does.

Well said Dave, I'm very happy that Bobby has finally come through for us.

The Bobby Zamora we have seen the last 5 or 6 games is the player we thought we were signing the problem was its taken him near on two seasons to get him fit

He played a part in both goals yesterday; set up Hoillett for Pen and put ball in for Austin

As a inpact player, in this or the prem, on a lower wage I would give him another year if he can maintain this form. Very clever player

When we where relegated he should have had the operation and been fully fit for the beginning of the new year, for some strange we waited until the season had started to operate?

As I have said, a fully fit BZ is worth a one year extension to his contract.

agree with this!! Zamora has been immense the last few games but hes playing for his future which is benefiting us immensely right now. We must be very careful with this deal though as we all know his injury problems and we cant warrant 40 k a week on him....if in the prem and he played on something like 10 k a week and 20 when he played it might be worth looking at....but I also think if we do go up some tough decisions will have to be made as a lot of the players are out of contract and sentiments might have to be put out of the window....we have a decent spine now but we cant afford to keep all the like of jenas jonson traore kranjar benaryou or zamora for sentimentel reasons.
