Not sure he has had a bad game all year. Never more then 10m from the action last night. Very good ref. Still only one bad decision away from being a **** though!

Good point but I did actually say to my mate that I thought he had done well even when we were losing in the 2nd half.

As for their play-acting, not a lot he can do really, if they go down feigning an injury as they did on many occasions he has to stop the game, as he would be given a b0ll0cking if he didn't. Just a pity that Wigan resorted to that.

They were time wasting right from the start as well. He was chasing them up for that as well. The penalty decision was spot on and also booking their player for the dive could of so easily gone the other way with some refs who would of fell for it.

He's a very good ref who probably keeps up with play better than any other in this country and he had a superb performance. Didnt fall for the shocking dive by McClean in the first, or buy mcMananman throwing himself to the ground in the box under Joey's "touch" in the 2nd half. Got our pen spot on when many may have given a FK on the edge of the box becasue that's where the defender ended up, and generally had the game under complete control throughout.

            Massive credit where it's due.
