to be fair, van der vaart is past it, injury prone and couldn't do more than 60 minutes in any given game - the right sort of profile, if red chap stays on.

i'd like to see us play the loan market well (for a change )if we go up... see if we can pick up the likes of hooper and parker on loan deals with their parent clubs paying half the wages.

Jamie Ward from Derby. Always looks as though he could get sent off, but, a special young talent.
Noone and the keeper from Cardiff (Marshall-McGreggor) can`t remember his name.
        Hoolahoop and Bassong from Norwich.
There`s too many to mention but I bet we don`t go for any of them and make the same mistakes as this season with loans and has beens.

Kris Commons is another I like. Noonee is a great shout very good player. Deeney I would like seen given a chance in the prem think him and Charlie together would play well

We don't have a squad that is anywhere near EPL fit for purpose. We'd have to get rid of most of them and start again with a younger manager, imo an absolute necessity.

Going up will be a blast, but it's definitely going to create big problems if we're thinking of staying there. Also word does seem to be that Harry will retire if we stay down, which for me would be an upside.

However, beating Derby would be so sweet......

              Samaras is a target man.

been watching him for more than 6 years now.

If we get a decent winger who has pace and can make perfect early crosses, then Samaras is an option too
