derby chap im calming down now......yes you have done splendidly well and deserve your shot at us...but its a tad like amir khan versus mayweather...you will have your moments but we will ultimately plant one on your glass jaw!
Thing is derby's view on us like most clubs is mainly media fed - its the same old boring crap people say about us. Fact is if austin hadnt of been injured wed of made top 2 by playing pretty average football this year....we all know as qpr fans we havent played to our potential much this year yet we finished 4th on 80 points being average at best and now in the final with our top goal scorer back and the team finally playing well and with passion....if i was a derby fan and actually new any truth about us id be very worried.....love it they think we aint a team and full of over paid pre madonas.....means didnt watch tonight and are in for the fright of their lives....muggy midland ****s
nice to be an underdog for a change, Derby are playing well but we are no Brighton thats for sure, they were a joke. It will be a lot harder for them at Wembley
Haha! Glad I logged on here, you lot aren't as bad as I first thought ;)
Anyway, what do you lot honestly think of Derbys team and the way we as a club go about things? Very different to your approach
Also, what do you lot think of the amount of money being thrown around with you? Right or wrong?
Mate we are learning our lessons and tbh people are still harping on about what happened last year under mark hughes.....weve had a massive clear out and brought in some really decent british signings this year under the age of 24.....we are now investing in youth new training ground and stadium and if we beat you I think a very different approach will be taken by us.
We actually have a fantastic chairman at our club who mmost clubs are just jealous not to have. He made mistakes in believing to much in mark hughes and just seems to be tainted by it now....The way harry has transformed our club this year we deserve to be in the final as much as anyone and to be honest its getting boring from the media and other fans of this b***** we just chucked money at it...
As for your club in all fairness youve gone about it in the right way and played some lovely attacking football and in mclaren you got a great manager and your club has a fatastic set up ie stadium and youth team...You again fully deserve to be in the final and again with out being bias I just think you are playing us at the wrong time - we have been average all year but finally seem to have stepped up and yes with auston back we are now very dangerous team with a squad of players who have been there and done it....btw hughes goal last night was class

That's media nonsense. This season we've relied a lot on free transfers, cleared out the big earners and spent a few million on Austin and Simpson. Last season's financial issues were down to Hughes and we hate the bloke.
Derby have finished 3rd and quite rightly, so you do obviously have a good team, most of which was assembled by Clough wasn't it?
I don't like Martin up front he is another Grant Holt...which if you're a QPR fan is not complementary.
The chelsea youngster is very good, and Ward and Russel run their nads off and are dangerous. Hughes can play, seems to have time on the ball, which is the sign of a good player
and that Buxton looks like a weightlifter...Top keeper too...done it regularly over the years.
My biggest worry is the wally with the brolly....he has transformed the same team that clough couldn't.

Interesting to here the inside view, as your correct in saying that the view of just throwing money at it is all the press portrays, and that is certainly all we here from an outside point of view. Going to take some time to recover from that image though, when you still have players earning vast sums, compared to clubs such as Derby unfortunately. Really glad to here that you think things will be different if you do (hopefully not!) beat us come the 24th, compared to last time you were in the prem, which I think was handled really poorly. Glad wigan have gone out and hope if you do go up, the new approach you have described us maintained.
Agree pretty much with all you said about Derby and I'm very dissapointed with the fact that you seem to have found form at the right time. If it was based on the whole season, we would definitely deserve to go up, but it's not, it's a one off match, and I have a nasty feeling you just might turn up and play. Hope not though!

Yeah, the criticism Martin gets is abit ott if you ask me, however I'm abit biased. He's abit of a bruiser, granted, but he is also a very technically gifted player, who most of the time just seems to give as good as he gets from a lot of centre halves. He's built like a centre back but can play football. Has his card marked now with referees after a few silly dives early season, so doesn't get many decisions any more.
Bamford is a great finisher, not an all round player though and not a patch on our other loans, wisdom and thorne I wouldn't say.
And as for mcclaren , he really has been top class from day one. Been the missing piece in the jigsaw for us and has really taken us to the next level. Let's just hope it doesn't rain at wembley...
Agree about McClaren - our form took a nosedive when he left and never recovered.

no point as some on here already decided the galaticos of the east midlands only have to turn up to win the final should we get there.....anyone want my final ticket drop me a pm......season over.....now for some 20/20 cricket til august!
I have not seen one single person say we have no chance against Derby!!! They will rightfully be favourites but that does NOT mean we don't have a chance Facto, you old drama queen!
