On Derby yesterday, I did think (as a neutral) that they were really good - the goals were all excellent. Mind you, I thought Hendrick should have been sent off for a studs-up tackle in the first half.

What was interesting, though, is that both times Brighton played City during the main season, they played like Derby did yesterday - hard running, pressing, sharp passing, the lot - and they beat us both times. And, bizarrely, when we played Derby in December, we absolutely hammered them.

It just shows that it is the team that turns up that matters. As we shall see tonight!

Not quite. I said that if they play like they did yesterday, they'll win. You're right that Brighton rolled over for them, but to a large extent that was because of the way Derby hassled them - for large periods of the game, Brighton couldn't even get hold of the ball, and even when they did, Derby didn't give them time to settle on it.

Watched the game tonight, you were better than wigan and deserved to go through.

I think it'll be a tough game at wembley, you've got the experience and a lot of quality players, we've got the fight and attacking football producing goals galore, with a young team, just hope the occasion doesn't get to them. I'd like to win as I believe derby are going about everything in the right way, both financially and football wise. As an outsider I think you could do with a couple of years rebuilding and go with youth and become financially stable (I'm sure you'd beg to differ however!)

Hopefully Steve's time with you earlier in the season will help also as he should know your players inside out.

Anyway going to go for a 2-1 rams win
