Dave - I was probably down LR while you were still having you arrrse wiped and have a life outside this forum - so unlike you I only post if something concerns me about the running of the club. It's called democracy. If you're interested in the club's long term future you shouldn't just assume the men in suits have it all in hand. Ask the supporters of one of Harrry's old clubs.

As for selling Remy and Taraabt - that's great if we have a creative mid field and an international strike force. Unfortunately however.....
I've always been led to believe that UEFA's constitution provides for remedies at law under ICAS, without deference to any other jurisdiction. If I am wrongly versed then I apologise but their ability/capacity to rule on the point will surely be covered in their rules of association. I agree btw that the article is a sound legal opinion and if my above assumption os correct then ICAS should use their powers to adopt outside experts to assist in their role.

We meanwhile carried on regardless, becoming in hock to Barclays PLC in the process.

And now sanctions have been announced: £50 million for Citeh and PSG. If we go up, we'll be in for a hit of around £30-40m, possibly more. If we don't, current income will effectively be halved along with an embargo.

FFP's legality is being challenged in the courts but it is my no means a gimme.

I said on here a while ago that for development reasons alone, going up (and the inevitable retention of Harry) might not be such a good thing. And now there is the financial sanction looming. Unless we have a spare £50m kicking around we might be better of spending a couple of more years down below building our team from the bottom up (with a young manager) instead of the top down. QPR are by far the club most vulnerable to financial meltdown if FFP kicks in, not least because we are already in £65m worth of debt.

      What is the solution?
When are you doing the second part of your post because I am quite interested in the answer to that question

In the fans forum last week T.F said that very little was owed to the bank around £10M the rest was what he called soft debt, which were to the shareholders, and that they were considering writing the debts off, also FFP wasn't a problem? And the clubs finances were ok even if not promoted this year.

Pedantic I know, but our wage bill is NOT higher than Dortmund's - that rumour was quashed soon after it started.

It is, however, higher than Atletico Madrid's

So your learned diagnosis would be to ignore the elephant in the room. Let me tell you right now that it doesn't work. You'll get trampled sooner or later.Ignorance is not bliss, it is just ignorance. I have no idea why you have to resort to name calling - fans are entitled to voice concerns. I'm 58 and no relation to Marshy.

Anyway - there's a job to be done first. Fvck knows what'll happen if we go up but it can be done.

Another post based on absolutely nothing!

You're banging on about UEFA fines, nothing to do with FFP at league level. Also, seem to be forgetting the money Premier League clubs get! If we as you say, we get fined circa 40m, it's still a drop in the ocean of the overall annual income by playing in the Premier League.

FFP rules are nowhere near to being agreed either. We have next to no real debt.

Pull your head from the papers and trust a successful businessman man, who ironically is an accountant too!

Btw hal9 The Mail reckon PSG will only get a £20 mill fine.....so you can have a worry about that now...Platini and his anti English leanings

The Solution?...How about we go into admin, get docked 200 points get relegated 4 divisions, then you probably wouldn't post here, and the FA and FFp bods will ignore us....that's a solution!
if the fail is right, then this would open up several question mark about the legality of ffp overall, even though it's for the champions league.

psg aren't disclosing much detail about their accounts, but they allegedly receive about £100m a year from the qatar tourist board for... well no one really knows, maybe some advertising around the pitch. it's really taking the peeesssss acounting wise and the legality of it is extremely dodgy. if they get fined £20m for that and we cop for £40-50m for a lower level of losses against much lower legit income, then the chances are he whole system won't stand up in a european court.

If we go up and get a 30-40 million fine we will get around 100 mil just for going up. so thats the fine covered and money for transfers, debt, wages ect. However if we dont go up = no fine, no money from the prem or a little parachute payment that aint worth a w**k. transfer embargo with half a squad in contract. we will probably end up in the bottom half or even go down. so i'm all for going up and taking our chances. so we get fined, we will only get 60 mil instead of 100 mil. no brainer to me. if your'e that worried why dont you email the club for an explanation......... the rest of us have more pressing things to think about. I don't see it being a huge amount different. Lots of highly paid players on loan rather than sold, and some high profile players in too.
