  • Mood on Wigan forums?

Has anyone been checking them out, how confident are they of beating us over two legs on the scale from 0 to 100 per cent?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Cos that really affects what happens on the pitch doesn't it.
"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".

London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

Just curious if they are fretting more or less than we are.

Spoke to a Wigan lad I know today, said they're delighted they got us & fully confident of turning us over as we are 'underwhelming'

Can't say I really disagree tbh. Hope he's wrong though.

Hope their players think that too, they may get a surprise.

I make him right too, but Underwhelming All Season vs Underperforming for half the season and again of late makes for an interesting match up. Can't wait.

All season we've been playing at 20 to 30%, if we move up a gear it will be a walk in the park.

after their long season their team will all crash and burn at half time of the 2nd leg, then ravel will have his way with them
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

Interesting view they have!! so underwhelming that in our two games they have failed to score against or beat us plus there form is double ropey

Tell you what as a Rangers fan im chuffed we got them out of the other two as for me Wigan have hit the skids

Wigan have proven to be a decent cup side so that is a worry. Plus i feel Rosler will be more attack minded and aggressive than Redknapp which could work in their favour.

That said, their recent form has been poor since they lost the Cup semi, and they appear to either be running out of steam, or on a bit of a downer, which works in our favour. PLus we have our key man back playing and in the goals.......

                          Going to be interesting.

I want them to attack us, I think that will fit perfectly into our game plan. They play wing backs so are sitting ducks for the counter attack with Traore and Hoilett (that's why I'm adamant we have to play both) as our wingers. On the break, we'll have a few opportunities of our 4 attacking players (Charlie, Ravel, Traore, Hoilett/Yossi) going straight at Wigan's back 3 and holding midfielder(s).

If they come at us aggressively then I think we'll soak it up and hurt them badly on the break.

I have spoken to a lad i know working at the Lancashire FA , does a bit of scouting for clubs around that part of the world, the are very confident over the two legs, the one team they are really concerned with is Derby , they would have taken us or Brighton. They believe we're quite one dimensional and have been all season with or without Austin , along with Brighton we play the possession game that Wigan believe they can undo , obviously there concerned about Austin but there more concerned about Morrison and that creativity he provides, wouldn't be surprised to see them pay special attention to him friday , may be a man marking role for someone, he's there real concern.
