  • Wigan Friday Nightlife

So wheres good places to frequent post match this Friday?

I've had all the Wigan Pier, talcum powder and Wheel That Spins references
Done a quick google search but the last 30 mins in a Chef & Brewer doesn't appeal! Don't they have any late bars or clubs in the area or is it Manc City Centre for signs of life only?!?!?

We're staying in Haydock but that's only 15 mins down tut road
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

I went out down King Street when I was there after we played Bolton away this season, was blinding.

A sensible answer at last..... I salute you Sir

So what's the form with that street then - near the ground / walkable? Is it bars open late or any clubs? Trainers or shoes? Anywhere to tie the whippet up outside? Any particular gaff to head to?

2 mile from the ground mate so best to hop in a cab I think.

Plenty of pubs and bars mate, there's a Vodka Revs & a Walkabout IIRC as well as a few other pubs & clubs (seem to remember a Reflex which was your cheesy club blasting old school classics, had a few hen dos there). Plenty there mate, we didn't go smart, a polo shirt and some boat shoes or something will be fine - shirt and shoes will probably see you looked upon as royalty by the locals!

"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."
