Was going to raise something later connected to Cardiff. Now they are down I hope the FL make them sign up as the PL made them before they were allowed entry to the top division that they are now totally Governed by the English FL and they can no longer appeal to Welsh FA for issues that arise in English League.
They had to agree to this before they were allowed in the Prem and should be forced to sign up to it by the FL too now they have dropped
Its not fair that Welsh FA can interfere with a league outside of their remit
Who agrees??

Totally right, but I would go further and expel them from the English League and make them play in the Welsh League!Originally posted by West Acton View PostWas going to raise something later connected to Cardiff. Welsh teams have been part of the fabric of English football for a century , they have been around a lot longer than you and will be around a lot longer after you've gone so get over it.Originally posted by easthertsr View PostTotally right, but I would go further and expel them from the English League and make them play in the Welsh League!

Good question, and for the life of me, I cannot think of one single good reason.Originally posted by Shania View PostWhy do they play in England?
If it were up to me, no Welsh football club would be permitted to participate in the English football leagues.
They could sing that awful dirge, land of my fathers, to each other, and no one else.
I wish UEFA, or FIFA, would point out to the English and Welsh FAs, that as both countries have clubs in the English leagues, then they are in actual fact, British leagues, so should have a British team, rather than separate English and Welsh national teams. Would hopefully speed up the demise of Welsh clubs in the English leagues.
Would be no problem, ironically, were it not for the constant nationalist shite we English get thrown at us by those Welsh *****.

Just because Welsh clubs have been around for a while it shouldn't necessarily follow that it should always remain the case. You may or may not be aware that in that time, the people of Wales voted for a National Assembly, and have since voted for further devolved powers, which include sport. There is no reason for Welsh clubs to continue playing in English leagues for the following reasons:Originally posted by W12_Ranger View PostWelsh teams have been part of the fabric of English football for a century , they have been around a lot longer than you and will be around a lot longer after you've gone so get over it.
1. Wales has its own football association.
2. Wales has its own national team.
3. Wales has its own national stadium.
4. Wales has its own premier league.
5. The people of Wales voted for devolved powers for sport.
It all comes down to the fact that there's no money in Welsh football. No other reason.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

One of the reasons the Welsh and Scottish FA's opposed participation in Team GB for the Olympics was the threat of compromising their independent status. A number of FIFA members have asked, if the UK of GB/NI is a unified state, why do they have four teams? Both FA's sought clarification from FIFA on this matter.Originally posted by BUSHRANGER1982 View PostGood question, and for the life of me, I cannot think of one single good reason.

Who would support a GB/NI football team instead of the four nations we have now? I certainly wouldn't.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
