Notts County and Wycombe Wanderers, Shaun Derry and Gareth Ainsworth are two recent QPR legends in my eyes
As much as I like Derry, I think it's a bit much calling him a QPR legend as he was barely here 5 minutes....
As for Ainsworth, he split the fanbase like Mackie. Very limited ability but would run all day but mainly into other players or out of play, yet people rave about him because he gave 100%..... they should all do that by default.

Obviously i wish them both well though.
Can't believe what I'm reading! Ainsworth for me has never caused any debate, was a great player for us in what were pretty bleak times

You obviously was not at Rushden and Diamonds that day... Mackie, in fairness, couldn't lace the boots of Ainsworth...

No denying they were great goals, but certainly doesn't make him a great player. They were hardly regular were they, not to mention he went through a phase after that shooting from all over and most ended up in the top tiers. He was infuriating at times, hence the Mackie reference. They were both limited no matter how much people liked them because of their effort.
