  • Morrison on a Permanent Deal

QPR are reportedly keen on signing West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison on a permanent basis.

The former Manchester United midfielder has enjoyed a decent loan spell at Loftus Road where he has scored six goals in 14 games.

Morrison won the Championship player of the month for March and it is expected that he would be keen on a permanent move across London.

"We'll just have to wait and see," Redknapp told the Daily Star. "It depends what happens at the end of the season.

"If we get up, surely there would be a chance of keeping him and doing something with him. I don't know what his plans are really. He's just here playing well and we're enjoying having him around."

Morrison has scored six goals in 14 games since joining on loan.

Decent. We have to be in the prem for this to happen.

I think West Ham would want to keep hold of him.

If we go up, we need either a Ravel or an Adel plus a Loic.

PL or Championship, I would like to see QPR try and do a deal with him and West Ham.

If they don't win the play-offs and he is around next season, alongside a fullu fit Austin and Phillips, QPR would have a fair chance of doing what Leicester have done this season. Especially if they try and sort out the suad so that they have younger, faster CBs and a good back up striker to support or provide cover for Austin.

Morrison is young and will have plenty of opportunities to play in the Premiership, so perhaps an offer to sell him in January if QPR are not in the automatic promotion places might prsuade him to stay.

I agree and that we need to invest in two younger cb.

You need to build a squad from the back, we need to get it right this year. We also need one of Ravel or Adel in the side next year.

Thanks for toning down the adverts, not having some cr ap blasting out is a huge improvement coming onto this board.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Only likely to happen if we're promoted there will be a few clubs after him in the summer, but sure he'll only go to prem club?

Ravel wont be going back to west ham while big sam is there. Unless he's changed over to big sam's agent (the apparent reason for their falling out) Would love to sign him on a perm but can see a more established prem side snapping him up!

Would be hard yes, but he should be our top summer target.

To be fair when we signed adel for a million quid or whatever it was we didn't think we had much of a shout , he's clearly enjoying his football so I think (or at least hope) that there could be some legs in this

I cant see it happening unless ravel really pushes it through...I reckon bg sam is gone at west ham at the end of the season....even when they win the fans boo him. If he goes I reckon a new manager will want ravel around.

Saw somewhere that Morrison does not want to play for West Ham as long as Allardyce is in charge
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0
