Anyone had or going to have a bet?

Hard to look past Brazil with it being in their back yard, but I have gone with Uruguay, got them at 25/1 with PP. Would love to see us do well now the likes of Lampard, Terry, & Cole won't be around. Good young exciting squad now, but can not see us getting out the group unfortunately.

Saurez 18/1 to be top goalscorer. Normally 6 goals will win you it, he could get that just in the group stage!

Chile at 40/1 could be a good shout if you do them EW, they destroyed us at Wembley and played some brilliant football. Not sure about the Argies, they got all the players but they just don't do it for me. Will be interesting to see if Messi does it on the world stage as his critics always point out he hasn't done it for Argentina yet at a World Cup.

Belgium seem to have a decent squad. Dark horses for me...

Watched quite a bit of Belgium since they became in fashion and everybody started talking about them, but similar to England they just have average players except Hazard & Kompany. We only rave about them as most of their squad play in the premiership so we know them all. Yes they qualified without losing but if you look at the group they won, it is nothing to write home about.

think it was in November/December when they got schooled by Columbia, and they also lost to Japan and couldn't beat the Ivory Coast in their last game.

They should qualify out of their group but expect them to get beat comfortably by either Germany or Portugal in the first KO stage.

I think they will miss Benteke. But with Company, Hazard, De Bruyne, Mirallas etc.in the team, they can still field a decent team. Particularly, it will be interesting to see how Fellaini and Januzaj will perform. But I agree, they look a bit leightweight compared With Germany and Portugal..

Brazil just named their squad, quite a few big players left out, especially Lucas!

See a QPR player will be in goal for them

Columbia will be a decent shout EW if Falcao is ok in time. Think they finished above Urugauy in qualification.

Bets I have placed for this years tournement. Hopefully Uruguay & Benzema do the business for me! I say Benzema, Remy, & Lakaku because of the groups they are in. Chile outsiders to win it after impressing me how they play football and beat some good teams over the past 18 months including destroying us at Wembley.

                              Winners:

                              Uruguay 28/1
                              Chile 40/1

                              Top Goalscorer:

                              Saurez 18/1
                              Remy 100/1 EW
                              Benzema 33/1

                              Doubles Winner & Top goalscorer:

                              Uruguay/Aguero 350/1
                              Uruguay/Benzema 500/1
                              Brazil/Benzema 150/1
                              Argentina/Lakaku 200/1
