You were still wrong about him. The bloke has been a success in a decent team, just admit you got it wrong?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

        Not good enough for us.

          Turn it in!

What I said was he'll be talk of the town for 5 minutes and then he'd throw a wobbler and it would all go sour. Never once have I ever questioned Adel's ability, in fact I have always stated that he has the ability to play at the very highest level.

This may surprise you but I'm genuinely happy that it is going well for him. That said, I still reckon it will go sour for him at some point. I also maintain that I wouldn't want him back at QPR even after this seasons performances for Milan!

Anyone who thinks he will succeed outside of Italy or at a stretch Spain might be as high as the writer of the article. He can't deal with defenders closing down. Look at each of his goals for Milan, he has acres of space to run into. The fact of the matter is that he had 2 years in the prem to mix with the best and he couldn't produce. A huge talent without a doubt but as far as I'm concerned, he should stay in the mainland if he wants to keep up success in his career

Tell that to the nine teams above them in the Serie A. He's doing alright at a mid-table side in a tinpot league. Well done you Adel.

Still don't understand some of the animosity shown towards Adel. He's long gone from us, won't ever play for us again, yet people don't seem to be able to appreciate the impact he had for us?

Tremendous player, with a questionable attitude. Done more for QPR than near enough anybody we currently have on our books.

Before anybody says about him being big time and thinking he is better than us.... Surely the fact he is now flourishing at AC Milan proves him exactly right? Barton has slated us a lot more than Adel has in the past yet he is treated like a demi god by a bulk of our fans.

As I say he is long gone as a Rangers player and I, personally, will look back on him as the best player we've had in my lifetime.

It's the waste of talent that annoys me Matty.

Pretty much every one of us would kill to have the ability that Adel has. Adel has been blessed with an amazing talent and the guy doesn't want to train, eat healthy or in any way behave like a professional. Give me a player with half his ability that grafts any day of the week!

Fair cop mate can see that angle. Not for a minute comparing the players in terms of achievements by the way, but just look at the likes of Cantona - arrogance and the attitude is part of their game and makes them who they are. If they were humble and hard grafters, ala Jamie Mackie, they wouldn't be the same players.

Cantona was a nutter but there is no doubt that he played for the team and on the whole conducted himself professionally. Ferguson would never have made him a captain if he wasn't a good example to other players off the pitch.

I have no issue with arrogance, in fact I like it if someone can back it up. I have zero time for people that think the world owes them a favour though!
