I too had a season ticket that season, Facto, being a leftie I don't agree with you very often but that was and forever will be the best QPR team!

there are no political divides when we talk qpr old bean.......that team was poetry in motion and will never ever be replicated in my honest opinion....skill,graft,teamwork,passion.........if only the current lot had 50% of that sides character the play off would be a stroll.....the younger rangers fans really did mis out when they salute 'their modern heros' tarabbt, charlie, buzz, derry etc...........not in the same class as stan,gerry,don,dave............i get very nostalgic just think of dave thomas, socks round ankles, skinning opposing full backs!

My favourite memory of Stan - him being stretchered off and getting an earful from that animal Ron 'chopper' Harris. Stan looked at the scummer and reminded him of the score at the time by holding up 2 fingers with one hand and by joining his thumb and forefinger with the other to make a big fat zero. Priceless!
