This seems to be largely about Park's relationships with the respective managers. Philip Cocu at PSV has shown complete faith in Park and has utilized him in the best way possible, which is why Park was able to make such an impact there this season. In contrast, Harry Redknapp showed Park very little faith and underutilized him even after he regained fitness and form, more often than not starting the likes of Jamie Mackie and others over Park. Furthermore, it appears that HR has not once contacted Park directly since last summer, so Park must feel that HR would not use him much anyway, so why return at all? That is probably what he is thinking, that if HR will be the manager next season, he would be spending a meaningless season as his last under a manager that doesn't really want him anyway. Park has always been favored by managers (SAF, Hiddink, Advocaat, Bonfrere, Verbeek, Hughes, Cocu, etc.), staff and fellow players throughout his entire career due to his commitment, professionalism and selfless team spirit, but in his half-season with Park, HR seemed to be the exception.

Tony Fernandes and Park will soon be having a chat, and I think that if Park changes his mind and decides to return for one last season at QPR, it may indicate that HR is on his way out this summer. Not that TF would make such a decision over Park, of course, but if TF is planning to sack HR anyway, it would be the opportune moment for him to let Park know that.

I am personally disappointed to see the possibility of seeing Park back at QPR diminishing, as I think he could be an important player for us next season under the right manager, but the ball is in TF's court now.

Football is a funny game. Let's wait and see. Who had thought Barton would return?

Well there just happens to be one in our squad, name of Yun - and a ****** good prospect he is too. Shame Harry insists on picking BAE or Clint ahead of him, even those he's the better choice at LB.

A pity we didnīt play him when he begun to show some stablity towards the end of his stay with us.
Anyway,to me it still is a mystery why he didnt produced on the whole when he was with us.

well that's a relief because most of us wished never to see him playing for QPR again.

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

He was actually a signing that at the time I thought made sense, I think the talk of him just being here to sell shirts didn't do his reputation justice.
However he was absolutely terrible for us. All he did was one cross.
For some strange reason I didn't bracket him with other elderly prem players that would just be injured, rubbish and be on a QPR final salary pension scheme.
I thought he would provide discipline, grit and be commanding especially as he came from utd and I thought now wrongly be in the mould of scholes, giggs etc , providing attributes that our merry group of highly paid mercenaries would learn from but he was a complete flop, don't buy he weren't played regularly or in wrong position, his whole career was based on being able to come in from the cold and do a job.
To me the game always looked to fast for him.
