  • This might sound ridiculous.

Does anybody else on here think we let Millwall score at the end at the weekend?

I know it sounds daft but just look at the amount of fouls we gave them in the last 7 mins to give them their chance.

Then look at Barton's challenge on their player before he shoots and I don't have to say anything else about Greens efforts for the goal.

I think a agreement was in place myself. If we get the point we need we would then " Look" after them.

For what reason I do not know..

I thought that as well, even though it could never happen realistically. But i would of bet my organs we were not ever ever going to beat them, and i said so all week previous,

Their lazy free kick bounced off the top of the bar and blow me over if we didn't give them a second free kick a minute later in the same position,
yep we gave them the draw

I didnt think QPR would win the game maily because it was the last home game of the season and they rarely ever win one of those unless there is something relying on it like Palace 6-0 (1999?) or Stoke 1-0 in 2012.

              Off the top of my head, from other seasons, I recall a 1-1 draw with WBA 1985, 1-3, Man Utd 1986, 0-5 Spurs 80s, 0-0 0-1 Bury1998, 0-0 Wigan 2002?, 0-2 WBA 2008? Palace 2009?, 0-1 Newcastle 2010? 1-2 Newcastle 2013.

However, looking at that soft equaliser, I think it might have been on purpose in order to prevent any potential angry confrontations skirmishes or pitch invasion, because that was not a shot that should have ended up in the back of net.

We gave them so many chances in the end it just never felt right. It wasn’t down to them throwing the kitchen sink at us either. It was like “ Go on then you can score now ”

Now after looking at Barton’s role in the goal and I don’t even know where to start with Greens antics something somewhere just isn’t right.

Had the dubious pleasure of attending that one, what a mutually drab affair it was IMHO. Thought Millwall would nick it one-nil and at the end of the day they probably deserved to have done so, meh.

It reminded me of the day we had to beat Palace and we did 6-0. Something went on that day as well for sure.

Morally, no. But to me they seemed a tad less cack than QPR.
