i wouldnt be unhappy with another season winning games n being compeatative as im affraid our squad,no matter how rated in this league, would get raped week in week out in the prem....been to bournemouth/watford/today of late n to say we look ordinary is being generous!

I agree , prefer the prem, i must say i get the same buzz going to watch QPR if we are playing doncaster or arsenal . More 3pm KOs and midweek games as well. Trouble is we need to recoup some wonga.

i would love us to go up and sign noone, nada. Just go down with bags full of cash with 2 fingers up to Scudamore. Then build a proper young team.

Craig Noone would be a decent signing in fairness.

Funny old situation we're in. Obviously now we are in the play offs would love us to win, a win a Wembley would be an incredible day, but I really wouldn't be too upset if we lost as I kind of share facto's sentiments; we just aint ready for the PL.

All down to the type of football you are playing not the league you play in. If your team is exciting to watch you get that buzz no matter what.

Our lack of expectations will see us win the playoffs. As matty said would be great to win at Wembley but if not the championship is a great league. I'm sure we give wall the goal today as London clubs seem to look after each other at the business end of the season. Financially if we don't go up wall would put more bums on seats than Blackpool next season.

The play offs have nothing to do with the league form. Anyone can win it and the chance of all the four teams are equal imo. Having said so, I share your worry about getting raped in the PL If we go up, but I would expect us to have learnt from our mistakes If we go up.

Under Harry we are not ready imo, but you never know. Football is an old strange game. If we go up, we may be managed by a another manager who could succeed. Look at Crystal Palace now.

some good replies there.....i only hope if we do we have learnt from our mistakes and dont let harry spend ridicuous amounts on more over the hill type players....as i said id actually have a policy of no more than 3 players 30 or above in the whole squad.....gotta base ourselves on younger/hungry players with possible good sell on values !

I agree with that. We've got some good players that aren't playing to the standards they've reached elsewhere. I suspect poor coaching is to blame. Look at Man Utd. The same set of lads won the title at a canter last season. Change the manager and coaching staff and they flopped. The coaching regime is rumoured to be poor.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
