I dont give a shite about the premiership, i actually prefer the championship cos we win now and again in it. But through no fault of our own, we have got a massive wage bill, and i adore the club, not the divisions, and dont want the fear of going bankrupt in the back of my mind. So the quicker we go up and get another 100 million the better for the sake of our little old football club,

I fear we could end up a yoyo club and end up on road to financial ruin.
IMO its time to rebuild whole club. New ground ,training check.I believe we should start the manager playing staff from scratch. Keep our few gems and get rid rest. A bit out there but I went mind giving the manager job to say Gary Neville and Ryan giggs. Let them bring your n some young talent and build the club they was brought up.

Originally posted by gator View PostObviously I want promotion and the money that comes with it because that's how modern football is structured but I enjoy my weekends much more when we actually have a chance in every match we play in The Championship, that is far from reality in The Premiership! The Championship changes 25% of it's teams from year to year so it will be a much different league next season, add in the fact that there will be many London Derbies and it's not all that bad being there! See what I did there, I am setting myself up for the inevitable play off failure!
Kevin's post is spot on aswell, we do really need the money.

I'm pretty sure most players would rather play in the prem than the champs, and I would guess most fans would prefer their team playing at the top level.
I think the real 'plums' are those people who have no ambition to see their team playing in England's top division.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

People here who say they'd rather be in the Championship than the PL are talking nonsense. Progression and the strive to win and be successful is what the game's all about. If you'd rather stay in this league then why don't we sell-up and all be delighted with a mid-table finish for the rest of our lives.

Were Swansea ready when they got promoted? I disagree and think we should be ready having learnt from the previous 2 years in the PL.
Apart from the squad yes agree about not having proper stadium, tarining facilties, etc, but the club is moving forward in developing that.
If we go up and replace Redknapp with a proven young manager who can get the best out of the mix of experienced and young players, we should be ready.Last edited by Yousef; 28-04-2014, 05:48 AM.QPR fan since1987
