the game was a dead rubber, im sure all of our players were playing within themselves to not get injuries and bookings and rightly so. this game was meaningless.

A poor one that should be mid table except for our very lucky start.
There is a chance of promotion but we must be odds on not going up based on last 10 to 15 matches.

It will be the first and only game that it doesn't actually matter what the result is. And to be fair, it can't get much worse than today.

Let's be brutally honest with ourselves here. Despite all the management/manager's talk about being content to just make the playoffs, we had a big salary club expected to deliver big time results. To date we are far from that mark. As for the style of play, with the "possible" exception of the first dozen games or so, it has been boring, pedantic and unproductive. THAT responsibility rests with the coaches, and 45 games in it's frightening to see our form and play has not improved -- at all. To win the playoffs, and it's clearly our only shot, we will have to have a string of standout performances from individual players who elevate their game DESPITE the abdication of managerial direction. This leaves Charlie, Ravel, Joey, and Clint in the spotlight...if they play outstanding football in the playoffs, we advance. If not, the reasons are maddeningly obvious...

Neither of them should feature in the play offs. Should be replaced by Jenas and Holliett in today's team.
