Would not surprise me if Mourinho has instructed his agent to approach United, he has always wanted that job. Ancelloti could be a possibility also. Then your usual managers of the moment e.g Klopp. Who ever gets the job will need a lot of money in the summer to sort that squad out.

Could do Dave, maybe the year off has made him realise he misses the game too much.

Barton commented a few months ago how Fergie is at most games and it wouldn't surprise him to see Fergie go back.

It was little more forthright/rude than a simple comment as I recall

Moyes is a younger SAF. Same tactics, philosophies etc. Both have had bad starts at United. Moyes seems to be slowly morphing into Fergie as well, looks like he's aged by about 150 years in the last 8 months.
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Would be happy with a straight swap.

                        Moyes for Redknapp

I know it could never be shown and it's all hyperthetical but, I'd be amazed if Fergie would have been given as much chance if he have started when the PL was formed..... Different and far less greedy or corporate back then so Ferguson was afforded time whereas Moyes although he has had a reasonable and in some cases a decent season compared to other teams it's a totally different stratosphere with Utd as they are such a global brand.... Moyes has embarrassed and tarnished the 'brand' far too many times this season and has set all sorts of (albeit only being compared to one manager when it's PL related) unwanted records in a world obsessed with statistics....

Utd have had plenty of time to quell and dismiss these rumours since mid afternoon but have not done so and why one could ask.... I'd wager that they want a replacement (if it's temporary then it'll be Fergie) in place before they make any sort of announcement.... My thoughts and could be complete nonsense......!!
