I'm sure I just read that he should have played Hill and Neddy on Saturday - that's a tough shout when Hill isn't even fit for selection
It's a tough call for me on Dunne's performance though because I agree that he was excellent on the whole - but unnecessarily conceded a corner for the first goal (lost his positioning and got under the ball too much) and I think he was at fault for both goals in terms of his positioning and lack of challenge. I can't say he was a stand out performer due to what I thought were defensive errors on his part - but on the whole the rest of his game was good and he has been very reliable for pretty much the whole season.
Not bad for someone who previously missed a whole season, is over the hill and a cart horse with the turning circle of a paddle steamer
I think because we scored 5 and won convincingly in the end, fans are un-sure as to whether they should criticise Dunne or anyone for that matter.
But Dunne wasn't great IMO
You can't really say Harry has signed loads of mercenarys; the only ones of note are Samba (who should've been better than he played) and Remy (who almost kept us up). You can't say we've signed any this season? Just because they're old doesn't mean they don't care!
Bit harsh calling Remy a mercenary. He earned his money scoring goals.
