Rumours are Beckford wants to Leave Leeds United. I would also consider the kid at Gillingham as an extra striker.

I'd offer them 3 players, I would also consider one of our better players for a top striker.

I'd also spend up to 3 million on a top striker and that in many ways would appease fans.

I do like the look of him. Him or Hooper would do me just fine.
And I'd be content to sell any of our midfielders, other than Buzsaky.

I still think Beckford will end up at Newcastle. That's his stated prefered choice anyway.

Above are plenty of options, so I see no sense in losing a versatile and influential player like Rowlands or great players like Buzsacky. If this club was run correctly ie., getting rid of fringe/below par players and addressing the areas that we're weak in.
