Come on mate, don't dig an even bigger hole.

I would suggest that Ehmer, Harriman, Petrasso, Skapetis, Donaldson and Hitchcock are likely to be less expensive options than BAE, Krancjar, Maiga, Keane, Carroll and Benayoun.

HR spent in the region of £8m on Austin and Phillips at the start of the season. Don't think too many Championship clubs were able to do that in addition to getting in so called Premiership experience such as the likes of Jenas, Dunne, Henry and O'Neil. In addition to all the loans.

Simple fact of the matter is that Redknapp doesn't understand anything other than buy loads of players and hope like hell something works. If he did, we'd have surely seen some evidence of it by now.

If we offer him a manager post i'm sure he would love to come back. Bircham as a manager, Steve Gallen his assistant and Joey as player-coach. But still, my number one choice is Eddie Howe, but i still love the idea that Joey would be a coach

Im not digging no holes, of course those kids on a grand a week are cheaper, but they are NOT good enough. God forbid we played the kids and were bottom three now, we have been top three all season and this madhouse does a hundred harry out threads a day. And dont dare bull shite me with 'us doom and gloomers would rather be bottom but play our youngsters and attractive football' rubbish either. The site would have to close cos of to much traffic if we were not in the play off positions, no matter who we played.

I'm not a "doom and gloomer". I'm a realist who said from day one that Redknapp was a mistake.

As for the highlighted bit, I would far rather a bunch of youngsters who came through our youth set up, finish mid table whilst showing heart and desire than go up and come down with this rabble. Because the following year, there is a chance that things would improve somewhat.

I know we're 4th now, but come the end of the season i am certain we wont be.

People are too sympathetic to the term "rebuilding" and allow it to be an excuse for poor performance. There may have been a lot of ins and outs in the summer, but many he had already shut out the second half of last season anyway. The core of the squad for this year was already in place. Movement of surplus players is irrelevant.

Add to that he was allowed to sign arguably the best striker in the division in Austin, arguably the best wide player in the division in Phillips, a good prem standard FB in Simpson and the likes of BAE, Krancjar and Carroll, who he wanted, dont for a second let that then be used as an excuse for failure due to "rebuilding", it's b011ox.

With the squad we had and the buying power provided in this division, any decent manager would've walked the league, i have no doubt whatsoever. Why do you think the bookies all had us as clear favourites and loads in the media say we should be going up automatically.....? It's because it's obvious.

Not sure how ANYONE can defend HR anymore.. Burnley have half the squad we have, half the wage budget, half the talent, yet they have walked 2nd? Someone explain.

Bottom line - 4th and the performances are no where near good enough for the squad we have.

We don't need a super-duper new manager to replace Harry before the playoffs begin, we just need someone already on the inside and with guts for those (hopefully) three matches.

Injuries plain and simple we got them from January and it decimated us. Mind you I am not a HR fan in anyway, never liked him really but without those injuries we would have gone up without doubt.

It could be that HR is saving the best players for play-offs. A potential problem is; will we drop out it?

More chance of you going to the moon for your summer holidays this year. Dont even bother stirring the doom and gloomers up with that nonsense please shan. The gaps too much for us ti drop out, win saturday should be enough.

So seventh and below have to win four out of five and we have to lose four out of five (which would total 6 losses out of 7 for us). Nah, aint going to happen. None of them have done it thus far, and nor have we lost like that.
