The amount of times this question gets asked just demonstrates the level of our desperation.

haha exactly.. I was looking over some articles regarding redknapps time at spurs and with spurs fans and one thing which was clear to see is that he does not like fans going against him.. When spuds fans booed him for a defeat and a draw, he said something very similar to what he says about us being in the play-offs...
'what have they got to boo about, we couldn't do anymore tonight, were right up there'.. same old same old!!

Spuds fans also sang ironically about bale playing on the left and lennon playing on the right when he played them both out of position.
a lot of similarities when their relationship deteriorated with redknapp

Here ya go from a spuds fan.. just after redknapp with sacked from Spuds.. ring any bells..

''And that’s one of the reasons why I won’t miss him: he just seems so consistently and suspiciously defensive when he talks about fans: Spurs fans, Portsmouth fans, Southampton fans, West Ham fans…

He shakes his head and incredulously asks what ‘they’ expect, insinuating that ‘they’ should think themselves lucky to have him – and implying that what went before and was pretty paltry compared to the riches he’s delivered.

In Spurs case, of course, when in this mode, he always referred to the club (not just the fans) as ‘they’. As in his sarcastic, ‘Yeah, cos they were always qualifying for the Champions League before I got here weren’t they?’''

No we stayed up because we deserved to stay up first season because we accumulated more points then three other sides. Fed up hearing we stayed up because of Bolton or Stoke. Had Bolton won more games they would have stayed up

Same as saying we only got promoted because other sides dropped points bla bla bla We don't get much credit as a club lets not cast of the credit that we have actually earned
