  • Am I the only one on here looking forward to the playoffs?

Jesus! Personally I think that coming third/fourth in the league isn't that bad considering the shambles of last season and the over haul in the summer. I'm content with the job Harry is doing. Tbh I'd like us to maybe not sit so deep and try to put the other teams defence under more pressure!
I look at the bigger picture tho I think and I don't see any team in the country performing to their best when they have leading players out.
Krancjar Barton faurlin ned out. Then a returning troare and Austin and Simpson.
I'm really buzzing about the playoffs. The thought of two electric semi final games and hopefully a trip to wembley to see the rrrrs would be amazing! I think it's about time we all group behind Harry and the players and have a real go.

A good, positive post among the doom and gloom on here.

I'm supporting the team and the manager to the end. Some of us haven't quite given up just yet.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Ablock for me I could only buzz about the play offs if I thought we had a realistic chance of coming out the other side of them with a smile on our face so assume that you think we will win them???

We currently have no form going into them we look reasonable enough at home and lightweight away; with two games in play offs being away from the Bush that don't bode well

West, ask yourself this, if you were a player, would you be thinking along those same lines?

And how would you feel if you discovered our players had the same opinion and agreed with you? Imagine some of the players saying exactly what you've written in a TV interview.

I'm sure, like me, you'd find it unacceptable.

Your spot on Richard but in private away from the cameras do you honestly think these players are confident about not only going into the play offs but also winning them???

If we were in form then Im sure they would be buzzing and looking forward to each game but yesterdays team did not look a confident side to me

Our only saving grace is that the form of the others in the play offs is just as ropey

could someone post up the record aggregate defeat in a play off two leg semi, oh and the highest defeat at wembley in the final. Cos we are deffo going to be on the end of breaking one or the other, my guess is about 15-0 defeat to Wigan over the two legs or if we avoid them in the semis, a 9-0 defeat to them in the final at Wembley cos they are so brilliant and we are so shite.
I dont want the play offs, same as i dont do the lottery cos i know i wont win, and if i did id still be unhappy. Happiness is over rated.

I'm hoping our squad display a level of professionalism that will get us promoted. Tough ask I know!

Ultimately, the squad and management need to demonstrate why we were favourites for promotion this season and I'm hopeful that with the players we have coming back from injury, we will find the form needed to win the play offs.

How do you think the players in our squad that play well in a game think when they know that despite how well they play Redknapps favourites will back in the team for the next game, players like the uninterested BAE, the pedestrian Dunn and "been shot for couple of years" Zamora. But hey Redknapp likes them and they have been good players, oh and what do they think when we fail to scout the opposition correctly so have no real tactic to over come them, as evidenced by our performances against the better teams in the league.

The play offs in many respects are the way to get promoted as your team gets the chance to play at the National stadium and lift a trophy if successful. Nobody will want to play us really Wigan haven't scored in 2 games against us, we beat Derby at home but somehow lost the away game despite dominating the game, so only Reading have the march on us at the moment. Need to get the settled side back by the play offs and if we do we will have a long overdue return to Wembley in May !

I've never seen rangers at wembley , went to Cardiff but it wasn't the same (result obviously influenced that ) . I'd definatly well up watching the team come out at the home of football with the national anthem playing . I hope we get there and I hope the team pay back the fans for following them all over the country again this year . Problem is there will be another 11 guys fighting for every ball and they will want it just as much if not more than us as they have the added bonus of putting millionaire footballers and pre season favourites firmly in their place . One things for sure though if we get there it will be a top day out and one that any rangers fan should be chomping at the bit to be at

I'd like to think we're third for a reason, that reason being that over 40 games we're the third best team in the division.

I'm not sure Dunne would be playing if Ned was fit, and I'm as baffled as you as to why BAE keeps getting the nod.

My team for the run-in assuming they're all fit would be:

                          Green

                          Simpson Ned Hill Yun

                          Barton Jenas

                          Hoilett Morrison Traore

                          Austin

If that lot play as well as we know they can, we have a great chance of going up.

I like that side but Harry will have to find a place to fit in Carroll, Dunne and Niko when fit as he has shown no sign of wanting to drop any of them so from having a competitive side which has some pace for change, like you have chosen, we will go back to a one paced side that ping the ball around in areas which are of no danger to the opposition
