I'm sure Peter will be keeping an eye on him from the subs bench

Ramage hasn't done anything to warrent being dropped this season. He's been unlucky and although stating the obvious, he's right about Chopra. Not scored in the last couple of games for Cardiff, so I'm sure he'll be raring to go.

We're not a shambles in defence so I don't expect him to grab a hat trick, but I'm pretty sure he'll grab at least one for himself.

Benny was you 1st of 2nd on petes phone in as I thought they were both Ben?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

            Well there was only 2.
I thought the 2nd guy talked alot of sense, so maybe it wasn't you.
Did you also say you thought stewart had a concentration problem?

              Haha, cheers.

Yeah, I've always though that of Stewart. Has some great defensive attributes, but the for me the most important one is the one he lacks...concentration.

Oh ok well if you was the 2nd guy then I am very impressed.
You didn't take any sh it AS Pete does like to sometimes turn the guy in the direction he wants him to walk and I thought you was spot on about everything.

                  Well thank you.

In fairness to Pete, I don't think he's so much trying to turn me as much as play devil's advocate as I moaned about too many midfielders yet praised the Watson signing. I'm pretty sure he agrees regardless of how many midfielders we have, there is no problem adding to them as long as they are quality.

Nothing against Mahon as he does a job, but we need to step up. Hogan is another I like, but he's not better than Taarabt (as a left winger) or Routledge on the right. Players like Legs are good enough to an extent as he's a ball winner and Rowlands is an all round midfielder who provides cover in positions. We need to lose some of the excess baggage in this area and really need to get a striker or two in. I don't buy all this needing to get rid of another as we're only holding ourselves back by doing so.

                  Again, just my $0.02 worth.

I agree with all the above.
We have clashed over Blackstock but I think your views are spot on regarding Tarrabt being a winger, connelly and Gorrks playing central defence etc. I will be proven right referring Blackstock. You agree with Pete on this but I will be proven right, when I collect my winnings. He has scored 2 league goals in 7. I expect him to score 9-11. Meaning I win a min of £20. You can also buy me a pint but as I say apart from that I think your on the money.

It was a very good call, and a good chat.

I tended to agree with your take on things regarding The Mittals, the squad, etc... but fair play to Pete. (Yes, I did really write that!)
He certainly comes across much better in human form than he does on messageboards.
Not half as bloody irritating. :waaaht:

To be fair, I've always thought those phone-ins are a good listen .. and it was good to hear some different people ring in for once.
I work most weekday evenings, otherwise I'd give it a bell... not that Pete would want that!
                        But fair play, good stuff.
