How many times had Sir Alex got away with speeding fines/points?

No worries mate, I followed what you were saying even if others didn't! Clearly he's still worth a few bob - no one wd be crazy enough to deny otherwise - but big clubs have learned their lessons and have tended to bomb out difficult people (eg Balotelli at Man City). A **** charge, then a drink driving charge all in the space of a year doesn't look that great by anyone's standards.

If we go up we'll take him back. Simple!

speeding fines are one thing (not great, but not career ending, except perhaps for a politician) but drink driving and a **** charge - albeit in fairness one he was cleared of - would send shivers down the spine of most top club managers imho.

I nearly wrote a very un-PC response and stopped myself!

The fella' s an amateur I know loads of people who have been in front of the JP' s more times than he has by the time they were 27.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

Why would he plead not guilty if his breathalyser test came up above the limit? Am I missing something?

Most people with mega dough go not guilty and hope mr loophole gets them off, which he does quite a few times as well.
