No I get your point, and its obviously up to the club what actions they take. And if they feel that the club is being judged by the behaviour of a player than fine.

But my point is how many people are really judging QPR by Joey's tweets?... not Anelka, not another club, but Joey Barton and QPR.
    SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

We get judged for employing him.

You'd be surprised how a club is judged by its players or its employees , look at how the club has changed in the eyes of other supporters by the Chairman we have had lately

Plenty have judged us for employing him. Whether you care about that or not is a different matter, but we have been given plenty of stick for having Barton on our books, when we signed him, and after the Man City game particularly.

OK I agree with you there. But I think we're moving away from the issue, and that is IMO I don't think this club will be judged by Joey Bartons tweets as he's always had a reputation of being very outspoken, especially when it comes to twitter.

Ok I expect that, but we will NOT be judged by his tweets. When it comes to twitter he will always be judged personally, not us.

Our last three managers have lost us plenty of goodwill too

a club will be judged by its employees , from top to bottom , Barton is one of those employees , whether its with what he tweets or his actions it will still come back to our club with other fans hence it puts our club in a bad light. In Joeys case he is known to be outspoken yes , its why he gets so many followers and abuse on twitter , and alot of the abuse he gets on there when it comes to football matters seem to revolve around who he plays for at the moment.

I completely agree that the club will be judged by its employees and employers for that matter. But like I said in my 1st post Joey is a one off. Especially in regards to tweets.

He reminds everyone of the days when players put their all into the sport, on and off the field. If QPR had a few more Bartons, Hills and Austins, we'd be able to compete with anyone.

So because he is a one off in your eyes he could tweet anything and it wouldn't harm qpr , because people expect that of Joey?

Not just in my eyes pal. I think if you was to ask is Joey a 1 off, the majority would agree.

And as long as it wasn't about qpr in any way then yes. I think most would shrug it of as just being typical Joey.
