Depends on what his opinion is.

Saying what you think regardless is not a positive trait IMO

"Been at war with Hughes for 2 months and it came to a head with Tevez" & people still think Adel was the destabilising factor in the squad, no wonder he legged it to the bus stop.

I think Joey's a one off, in the sense that he's a Joey verses the world kind of character... in other words no matter what he says people will always judge him for being Joey, not being a part of QPR.

True. But I've also seen many many time's references to Joey Barton tweets this, Joey Barton tweets that.... I remember one particular time when he tweeted something about a horrible shirt Alan Shearer was wearing on Match Of The Day. And it was all about Joey then, not a mention of QPR.

Hasn't got to be all the time , he is still regarded as QPR's Joey Barton... Or Joey Barton of QPR ... When he speaks or tweets he is representing the club he plays for, when he moves on he can spout what he likes

I personally think player's are looked at as individuals as a pose to representing their club. For example people don't think any less of the club just because of a few tweets made by a player.

                          Genius - No
                          Loudmouth - Yes
                          Idiot - He is not
Quite often says what the fans are thinking themselves, just footballers these days have been trained to keep their mouths shut, whereas Joey doesn't.

He's an idiot. But his gestures haven't changed my views on W.Brom.

No your missing my point mate, he was deemed as representing WBA when he made that gesture hence he was sacked, so players are responsible for there actions, either with words or symbols and are representing there clubs , in other words clubs can fine/sack players for incidents away from football , simply because they represent the badge/club not just at work but 24/7
