They should have gained Promotion by the time we get to play them right?
With that it could be out best way of getting 3 points up there, who knows how important they might be come the end of the season?

    Just a thought.

I wouldn't bank on it making any difference one way or the other. If they are on their holidays with promotion in the bag you could argue that they may not be up for the challenge of competing strongly against a young committed hungry outfit desperate for 3 points, but that's not us.

I agree with JJB. Look at us when we went up. Sealed it at Watford then got tonked last game V Leeds after going ahead in first min from memory

If there is party mood with the pressure off it could work in our advantage plus we have a good record up there

We should be in the play offs and this one match won't affect that one way or another.

I think there were a lot of factors in that loss though, West, the biggest being the players had just found out on the day that they would be lifting the trophy after the whole Faurlin thing. Wouldn't surprise me if the players were mentally exhausted. Remember seeing Shaun Derry on Late Kick Off the Monday after the Watford game, the bloke was close to tears.

                    I 3rd and 4th that!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Depending on our results and those of Burnley, it is possible that we could become Champions that day, so City would be going for it. And to be honest, listening to the way Pearson talks, I don't think he would allow the players to switch off. He might give game time to some of the squad players who've not played much (he did that on Tuesday against Wigan) but they would also be going for it.

It could be that by then, Rangers will not be able to catch Burnley but will be certain of a play-off place, so maybe Redknapp will experiment to give some key players (Austin, for example) a rest?

Charlie and Danny Simpson need to get match fit though so it is games they need. Chaz back in the squad tomorrow.
