Alternatively we could put a squad together on the cheap with one eye on getting promoted the following season but given them a years prem experience in advance with intention they form the basis of the prem squad when they next go up

We clearly didn't need to sign Hughes or the American fella
Would even say Hitchcock would of done a similar if not better job than Maiga

Once we're mathematically in the playoffs (as we would have nothing to lose) it would be interesting to see how Hitchcock would do instead of Keane.. fock what a league 1 club thinks of him. The only reason I use Hitchcock for an example is that we're clearly short on goals and we would be going into the playoffs with 1 striker who's only just come back from a big injury.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Oh and look at the red devils site, they wanted keane back to play last night instead of welbeck and said we are all idiots for daring to sl ag him off.

Rather than buy a load off useless French Africans and veteran mercenaries why not take £10-15 million and invest in 4/5 of the best players from lower leagues outside the PL. Basically do what teams use to do 15/20 years ago and put out faith in young hungry british talent. If we go down it will be fight and good team spirits.

Palace's team isn't strong at all except for Speroni. Yet theyre going to stay up. Austin or Chamakh? Hill or Delaney? Our players are technically better. If a team is managed correctly then they always stand a chancei supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front
