Whoever negotiated that deal should be tied to the back of a horse & cart & dragged through Shepherds Bush whilst being systematically flogged on route with a barb wired stick. Awful deal.
Deals should be based on ability. Taarabt has it in abundance. He's only not with us because of a personal relationship with the manager not his ability so the deal should reflect that.
Except he never said he was better than Messi. In fact, he said the exact opposite - he said he isn't as good as the liked of Ronaldo and Messi but he would like to be.
I have also never heard any QPR fan say he is better than Messi.
a players only worth what someone else is preparred to pay. His ability is not in question but if you were the buying club you would really be playing on his attitude and the other baggage he comes with to drive the price down (prob what we did to get him in the first place)
I never anticipated that we would get any more then £5mil max for him; I personally would not pay more then that so if were getting £3mil+ its prob about right in my book. If he was the model professional then I would be up in arms but hes not and that in my view will impact on price.
Also is he out of contract next season???? if so club may be thinking get what we can now as we will get nothing in 12months

So it seems like you're the only one?

I understand where you're coming from and I know you're really into attitude. I'd rather watch a player with ability over work rate.
Unlike most on here his game is about attacking and I disagree with posters and Harry that think he should be running 60 yards tracking back and tackling.
He will do well with Milan and deserves a chance to play with better players.
We will get whatever Milan want to pay, hopefully we put in a sell on clause, you never know he could become the next big thing and be sold for millions!!!

Take your point too We Are.
Adel does entertain me just wish he could have sorted himself out as he would be some player if he did
To be honest was only any good to us when we built a team around him and pandered to him. That just doesn't work when you have better quality players. His time in the Premiership with us and then Foolham has been a flop. He can't seem to hack it when he hasn't got a team of work horses clearing up around him and there are also other decent players in the side meaning he is not the centre of attention. He has struggled with the pace of the English game. Some standout moments but mainly been a disappointment.
A good thing for both parties if he is moved on in the summer and good luck to him. Will have some good memories of his time with us. It just should have ended much earlier than it has.
After watching Man United last night I can not believe a player like Fellani can go for nearly 30m, but Adel looks to be off for 2.5m. Whoever it was at the club who agreed to that has no clue. Been brilliant for Milan since he has been there, and off the top of my head some one like Dwight Gayle was sold for £6m.
