All very well saying this but most of these players haven't been available for most of the season...

    Simpson- injured
    Onuoha- injured
    Hoilett-injured
    Jenas- injured
    Traore- injured
    Morrison- new
    Austin- injured
and there's probably an argument for joey not being consistently available due to injury and suspension.
Completely forgot about Phillips. I'd swap Hoilett for him.

Also add him to the injured list.

And their replacements, such as Nico, BZ, AJ and of course Doyle. Carroll (rate him or not) also spent a period back at Spurs on rehab and I don't think we won a game during that spell. With Green having a brief spell out, along with O'Neil, the normally competent Benayoun taking a while to gain fitness and of course Ali for the season, it really is a miracle we haven't been relegated .
It is all well and good to say we have a big squad but these injuries have caused disruption all season and they have prevented us from ever being able to name a settled side. Is it any wonder no one really knows our best 11 and best formation

True but still no excuse for putting Hughes at wing back , everytime we have tried wing backs this season we have looked poor , Redknapp has contributed to us not getting into the top 2 more than injuries

Its crazy really to have so many out throughout the whole season and yet some aren't happy with finishing 3rd.

            [QUOTE=MattyRangers;1239959]

            Green
            Simpson Dunne Nedum Hill
            Hoilett Barton Jenas Traore
            Morrison
            Austin

            QUOTE]

That would be the team I would like to see. The main reason for me to put in Jenas is that Morrison seems to link up with him a lot and in the games they have played together they look to have built up an understanding of each other.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

Imagine Morrison teaming up with Charlie, a powerful strike force

How bout our best starting 11 for this Saturday? Assuming Jenas and Traore are still out, and Joey's in:

                  Green
Simpson Hill Onouha Yun (Dunne looking tired these days)
                  Hoilett Barton Carroll Benayoun
                  Morrison
                  Maiga

                  SUBS
                  Hughes
                  Dunne
                  Murphy
                  Henry
                  O'Neill
                  Zamora
                  Petrasso

Not read through the whole lot but for what it's worth I reckon we'd need Dunne's leadership and nouse on the wide open prairie that is Wembley should we make the final....

Wish Niko could get into the shape of his life as he'd thrive there too.....
