  • Don't judge me on 12 games at QPR....Mark Hughes

"He is not about to deny, however, his part in the unravelling at QPR, whose dressing-room culture was described by Ryan Nelsen as “the worst I have ever seen”, or the blemish it left upon his reputation."

That's kind of him....seeing as he was the manager of the football team

Oh don't get me started. Wanted him gone as soon as the final whistle went at Man City 3-2.

Got nothing against Hughes. He didn't come to fail it just didn't work out. He and the owners tried to change the club too quickly which left us with an unbalanced squad of mercenaries. Sometimes things just aren't meant to be. The brown stuff happens. Unfortunately on that occasion it happened it us!

Pretty sickening to see him pushing on with Stoke doing reasonably well in the top half.

Makes no difference he is the manager. Most goals coming from his signing Chickenwingie.

gotta admit the wire wool anchor is doing the business at stoke, still shocked at how he managed to mess us up so royally last season.

My thoughts too. I wish MH the best but can't find a way to hope that Stoke do well! I thought my opinion on MH put me in a minority of one on this board but I see now it is at least a minority of two!

Not entirely, but besides, it was Pulis' squad that before Hughes came probably played the most unattractive boring football the premier league had ever seen. MH is doing a good job at Stoke, like he did at Fulham and others beforehand. It didn't work out with us, but for anyone to put that solely at his door is just pathetic and naïve.

He was a failure, now move on.

Out of interest, I assume half of the anti hughes brigade back Harry to the hilt regardless of the fact when he took over in the prem we were 6 points from safety and he masterminded a much worse deficit by the end of the season. Then this year he needed to bring in McClaren at the start on top of his already huge "management team", during which time we were doing well and Harry took the plaudits. Then McClaren leaves and works miracles with Derby, whilst we, under Harry and his "management teams" direction have performed abysmally and slid out of contention, made some shocking signings and basically are an embarrassment considering the squad at our disposal....????

Just wondering. But for anyone to suggest Harry has done a better job than Hughes or Warnock is taking the pee, and add to that the fact his salary and that of his entourage will no doubt be the highest by far and it compounds it further..
