26 points out of the last 30 (8 wins 2 draws).
At current pace will end with 95 points.

Us: 13 points out of the last 30 (4 wins, 1 draws, 5 losses).
At current pace will end with 83 points.
Maximum we can get is 93 (win the last 8 to finish with 10 straight wins).

Just thought is was interesting that they have DOUBLED our points over the last 10 matches - even though we've won the last two! At least we know where the race for automatic was lost.

If Burnley fail to win this weekend and we do win suddenly the pressure will mount on them, although I can actually see Burnley winning the title if they carry on as they are but you never know, football is a funny old game.

For me the race was lost with defeats at Charlton, Brighton, Sheff Weds and to some extent at home to Reading. These were all games that QPR could and should have got between 4-8 points from. This would have kept QPR close enough to catch up.

The inury to Austin has proved costly as has the loss of Doyle who would probably have scored a few more had he been fit. Also the poor loan signings of Maiga, Keane & Dellatore haven't helped.

This is all well and yes going on current form they'll 100% definitely get 2nd place, BUT as we all know it only takes 1 match to change a teams current form. And with Burnley playing Leicester this weekend, that current form could well change. The way it is, at this point Burnley need to lose 4 and we need to win them 4....

I remember how everyone in the autumn months was predicting that Burnley would soon lose steam, well maybe this can still happen now?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

we all know that the amount of points we are above seventh is far to much for any club to over take us and push us out of the play offs. Well its the same amount as burnley are ahead of us. Will never happen in a million years , nah a zillion years. Burnley will probably even go up as champions, they have had the rub of the green all season, and get a penalty near on every single game as well. Anyone whom thinks there is even a remote chance of us catching them is living in a fantasy world.
Im even going to go as far as to say its mathematically impossible. (even though proffy pedants will say its actually not)

Didn't someone say we would be top of the league by now?? And that goal difference would be irrelevant because we would be so far ahead and walking it.........

Wish it was top three straight up. At the end of a long season the table doesn't lie and if you are at the top that's what you deserve. To finish third and lose out to a team that was 6th is terrible, unless you support the 6th place team of course!

True that, but the general public and neutrals love a play off.

Would be ace to go up in the play off final, but I don't think I could take the stress! And you just know that Joey would be off or some other drama would seal our fate. Ha, Ha.
Maybe another season to build in the Championship would be a blessing in disguise. I have a feeling we would struggle again in the Prem with our current squad and as we know buying in 6-7 new players is not the answer.
