Not saying he was brilliant, far from it, but isn't it funny how all these players who we said are not good enough for QPR are now playing for much bigger and better teams then us? I mean a few names below who most of the board say are not good enough for whatever reason in their heads.
Mbia - Sevilla in arguably the best league in the world, and just beat arguably the best team in Europe last night.
Adel - Italian and world giants AC Milan and playing well. We can all say Italian football is rubbish these days, but I guarantee QPR wouldn't finish in the top half of Seria A.
Granero - Again went to a La Liga side in Real Sociedad who are in the top 6.
Park - I agree useless for us but playing for the 2nd biggest team in Holland PSV.
Just a few examples, I wouldn't put Remy in the list as it seems everyone here agrees he is too good for us anyway.
We may say they are not suited to English football etc, but is that something to be ashamed of? I mean the English teams are not not pulling up any trees in European competitions, and our national team is a million miles of the world elite sides.@chrisrobson9

Bad buys would be a better way of putting it. If some thought had been given to our transfer policy we might have bought players who could fit into the style of play in both the team and the league. As it was we saw names and thought, oooh I'll have him, without any real thought as to how it would all come together....

Bring him back? NeverUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Never heard of him before he came QPR and don't think we will hear an awful lot about him once hes off the books
Should never have been playing in the centre of the park so we actually do our players no favours. His finest hour was playing right back at OT he really looked the business there was getting up and down the pitch and based on that performance he should have been left there where he could do what he would have been good at; Winning the ball and getting rid of it. He did not have the skill or composure to play CM in the Prem

Nice analysis.
It was mostly a case of throwing a team together with no confidence/downward momentum. Similar when Harry throws a 50% reserve team against MK Dons, they lose then he says "see, they've (aka Faurlin) been knocking on my door, I give em a chance and we lose to a team in the 1st Div"
First of all our FIRST TEAM were bottom on Prem in the first place, playing with no confidence vs a team buzzing in 1st.
And in what competitive situation would ever throwing 5 new players in, however good but especially given the circumstances, work!!????
Harry knows his stuff, I like him......but fans aren't stupid either.

Mbia was never as bad as people made out. Wasn't good with the ball at his feet and more of an athlete than a footballed but he always gave his all. Why he kept getting put in midfield instead of at CB which he was bought for is beside me. I think Hughes just thought I'll throw all these players together and it'll work out without a system and without thinking about whether they complemented each other.

Granero - played 3 games so can't say much about him
Adel - AC Milan are 10th and are poor these days...even Hoilett would look good over there.
Park - Only player who has actually done well and for a good team.
