No i disagree, now is crunch time, every defeat now really feels like a double blow, i would like to see there reaction if they were to lose at Leicester and we won still big ifs, but id like to see it.

Literally one game at a time , thats the only way to look at it , fully focus on Blackpool then move on. Pressure on games now is tenfold compared to what there was on games at the start of the season, teams facing relegation , teams with outside chance of play off spots, bring it on, crazy results are possible and will happen....

Let's look at this another way. Unlikely I agree. If Burnley draw their next 4 games, not impossible, and we win our next 4, we would be 2 points behind. So a string of Burnley draws could make it interesting! Nah!!

Being totally serious here now, people really need to start arranging there movements etc for the two legs. I dont go away anymore, but i will deffo be at reading for the first leg.
After last night's result, you lot are completely fvcked, and you will be lucky to make ninth place, never mind the playoffs...

Oh, sorry, that was meant for the Florist forum.

I didn't hear the commentary on last night's City match, but we according to our board, we weren't very good. We had a lot of shots, but came to nothing. One interesting comment is that it was the worst team performance since we lost to Brighton at the Amex. I went to that match, and we were absolutely crap - but that was the last match we lost, and since then we have had some fantastic wins. I'm just wondering if the fact that Nigel Pearson was in hospital until yesterday might have affected the team.

All generally agreed that Saturday's match against Burnley is critical. If they beat us by more than two goals, they go above us on GD, which would be a big psychological blow. However, it looks like Ings and Trippier are still out, and Dean Marney picked up a tenth booking last night, so he is out as well. There is a Burnley fan who contributes to our forum and says he is massively influential. We shall see. As the OP says, we've got a load of tricky games coming up, but the fact is we seem to do better against the higher-placed teams: but it won't be easy. On the other hand, we will not implode like we have before - Pearson won't allow it.

Thought your result last night was excellent. To be honest, I was surprised: Wigan have been beating a path recently, and I thought you would be doing well to get a draw. I really don't think you've got much of a chance of the automatic spots - ten points out of eight games is a lot - but like I've been saying all along, you're nailed on for the playoffs. We play at Wigan next Tuesday, and that's going to be another critical one for us.

Would love it cant see it. Burnley simply don't lose enough games to even make it a possibility

....at this stage they need to lose at least 4 and we need to win all of ours....never say never.

Burnleys last 3 games against teams all vying for 6th spot in the play offs...if we can close the gap to 3 or 4 points by then you never know. we need leicester to do us a favour sat and then for us to do the business against blackpool and then go from there.

That was my shout about a month ago to go into the last three games with a three to four point gap of them so we can strike given there run in

Burnley are a fantastic side and are better than us and Leicester. They have lost 2 key players and yet still win with ease. More chance of Leicester blowing up. I'd like to to Burnley beat Leicester to the title as they deserve it
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Behave at the back please. No need for any unpleasantness. If you're right, I'll probably slit my wrists, and then where would you be?
