Absolutely all day long. It makes the polls far more interesting because we all know where we stand on the issue.

People are still anonymous anyway behind their username, so its not as if there's anything really to be concerned about making polls public.

I think as this poll is public those who are against public polls might be too shy to cast their vote
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

              http://kirillqpr.blogspot.com/

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

This poll is not public though.

Apart from that small detail your theory is logically sound

It says "Be advised that this is a public poll: other users can see the choice(s) you selected."

You don't have to vote in this poll, it's your choice?

But if people won't vote then democracy will die and the world will descend into chaos and misery.

You finally saw what I did here. 7 for, 1 against. That was my point, I bet some people didn't vote 'No' because it was public

I like dictatorships. Keeps people in line.

Any fear of talking about qpr and a superb win and getting a nice edge in confidence over the team with the best form in the divison?

I certainly will. How about this? Taken from the 'Wigan prediction poll' earlier today.
