After the defeat by Sheff.Wed,Barton tweeted " we simply weren't good enough and the lack of effort was appalling".I hope this inspires them to better things starting with Boro' Saturday, but somehow I can't see it.More of the same I fear.

When you think about it.. We haven't really improved under Redknapp have we? Playing exactly the same way as we were under Hughes but were just in poorer league.
Barton's tweet sounds like a familiar comment we were all making towards the end of Hughes reign
We've had Redknapp since November 2012 remember!

I can't get me head around it, in the prem we had players that everybody moaned were non triers and overpaid mercenaries and we got rid of 16 players and got a new crop and here we are again with the same problem, ok some arnt on the wages that others were in the prem and too be fair i don't mind the salarys that much if they give top performances week in week out but this non trying culture is what pis*es me off.

Considering how loathed - even despised - Hughes is by most fans you could certainly argue that Redknapp has been no better. Would we have a worse team and be in a worse league position if Hughes had stayed on? I think its at least debatable. Plus there is also an argument saying that managers get off too lightly - when things go wrong they get sacked, so they can always claim they would have turned it round. The sadist in me would have liked to keep Hughes in place to put right his own mess. With a revolving door policy the new manager can always blame the last one. I don't have a brief for either manager btw - think they have both been very poor.

We've had Redknapp since November 2012 remember!I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
