  • Why do i bother

I,m guessing there were about 300 - 400 fans there last night, a far distant memory from the div 1 promotion game a few years back.
Only wish we had some characters like we had then.
Last night proved a few things to me, firstly im an idiot for taking a days unpaid leave and secondly qpr who i love dearly are full of overpaid so called players.
Ive been a member of this forum for a number of years and only commented when i was agrieved or picking my teams for fans competitions etc, but last night was awful.
If i had my way arry would be gone and so would 75% of that so called first team.
No characters, no heart, no spirit and more importantly no desire to play for our badge.
I could moan for hours but got to drive for 4hours to get back to work as on lates. Only wish the first team had half as much passion as i do.

Sod saturday i aint going, better of watching local team. At least they might give a shite.

Fair play to you mate. Loyalty is blind but fortunately for me I wisened up to this long ago and will no longer take days off work losing money to watch multi millionaires put in disgraceful performances. If I'm off and can get to games great. If not f%ck them they don't deserve the support they get.

fair play to you and all the others tha went bazza...i think its a sad reflection of what we have become,as a club, that highly paid and privilaged management and players 'cant be bothered' to act/play professionally or at least with respect for the paying fans.....we can all dispute 'who is to blame' for the current debacle that is qpr but i believe 'everyone' at qpr must shoulder some of that....i think ,as fans, our only guilt is probably over expectation but i think after years of hardship we re entitled to a bit of that!

OI, there's still 30 pts to play for & we're only 10pts adrift of auto.

I thought I had hit the suicide is painless site when I logged on this morning.

One thing that supporting our team for a life time as taught me; you don't start giving in until it is over mathematically; & even then I sit & hope for divine intervention.
Why start the doom & gloom now when you have a whole summer to sit & waller?

Yeh performances have been pathetic at times, but I refuse to start slicing my wrists just yet.

OK, now where is that emoticon of the dude hiding behind the sofa?

              BTW; welcome back Facto

In fairness Fraggy if you had (like the poster) driven all the way from Chichester to Sheffield and back to watch that, I think you too might be tempted to indulge in at least a mild moan...

I get that Stains; & although I have been stuck over here for quite a few years, I can remember many a long journey back home feeling let down over the years.

I'm not saying that people are not entitled to have a moan, especially those that have spent hard earned money & made sacrifices to attend; I'm just trying to point out, that life long suffers as we are, we should try & ring out every last drop of hope before going Tora Tora Tora

Thing is, it's pretty obvious what we're playing like at the moment, and a bad performance and a loss is very much a possibility. Fair do's to anyone doing the long trip up there, BUT....shouldn't moan when it does not go the way they want, they should be prepared for exactly what happened last night, and imo shouldn't come on here afterwards feeling hard done by and moaning about the cost and time involved it when it does. They knew exactly what COULD happen and it did. It is a free choice to go to these games, and no one is holding a gun to their heads so you pays your money and you takes your chances. IMO of course.

i disagree tw, he has every right to moan not with the result but with the lack of effort from the team , manager and coaches. as the wonderful carlton palmer kept sayin 'why is rednapp and his coaches sitting down they're losing 3 nil, why aint they up in the technical area encouraging there team' .i'll tell you why because they had given up .little yeovil showed us last night don't give up until the final whistle

....but mate, there has been a lack of effort from the team for a while, it is not something that suddenly came about.....surely anyone who went knew this could be on the cards.....this was my point, not the moaning about the result, but people knew what COULD happen, and a good chance it would and it did. Don't whine about stuff you knew there was a good chance of it happening.
