We can say good bye to automatic promotion. The only chance are the play off's, which I am not much optimistic of. I think at the end of the season, we must have a good and long look at the mess we are in and start building again. We must start at the very top. Tony Fernandes is the major shareholder, however he should leave the running of the club to Amit. That's what happened under Briatore. He installed Saksena as CEO, and things improved so much that we won promotion.
Then its Harry's turn. He is not building a team, he is trying to win promotion....and afterwards? We have no plan in place. Our youngsters are not given any chance. How can we ever have a team to play with heart? Most of the players must leave. I've been saying this for the past two and half seasons. Most of the players we have are here for the money. They seen it all and do not have anything more to prove. They played for bigger clubs and for them the R's are the last part of their fading careers to play football and earn good money without much pressure.
Its incredible that we are still looking to bring players in with ten games left. Another striker is on trial, which just goes to show that we have got it all wrong. Injuries did not help us either. But what do you except from an ageing and injury prone squad?
Hope I do not read the same arguments from our players.....we should stay focused.....we must try to win the remaining games.....we must forget about the Wednesday game blah blah blah.
