Nothing will get better by being promoted with a rotten squad that hasn't convined from the very first game. We have struggled to create goals for 3 years now. Need fresh ideas instead of making same mistakes again and again.

Other than the 100 million from sky, that could come in handy.

Agree totally mate. It's excruciating seeing how bad things have been for the last 3 years.

True but it's not all about the money mate. I want to be entertained & see decent football & players that care. Since the takeover we've had almost zero of both apart from a very very few. Go up we'll be the whipping boys again for sure.

I can understand the frustration - for the past few months you seem to be taking one step forward, one step back - but there really is no need to panic.

Look at the table. Wigan drew last night with Yeovil (had to come from behind twice to do it, as well) and even if they win their game in hand, they will still be behind QPR. You're fourth, six points ahead of Florist, and seven ahead of Reading and Brighton, and by this time of the season, the play-off places are going to come from the top eight teams.

          So:

Florist seem to be imploding: at least you've had a couple of wins in the past three weeks - they haven't won since mid February, and they lost to Barnsley and drew with Donny. Reading are equally inconsistent - beat you, beat Millwall, lost to Blackburn, lost to Wednesday.

The form team seems to be Brighton, and they have a game in hand. But I doubt they will catch you guys.

City and Burnley should get the automatic spots (even we can't fvck that up, can we?), so as I've been saying for the past few weeks, QPR are nailed-on for the play-offs, and personally I think that Derby, Wigan and Brighton will be the others. But I think Wigan will win at Wembley: three times, in fact, because I have a fancy they will beat Arsenal in the semis, and whoever wins out of Dull and Sheff U.

          Just my two penn'urth.

We play Wigan next week, lose that it's curtains for me. Boro away Saturday a place I can never remember us winning so I can see what you're saying but the point is we have hardly no goals in the side whereas other teams do. If Morrison doesn't score we don't score.

Thanks Bouncer that is really nice to know. I don't think we need a leicester fan giving us a reality check
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

jimmys never come across as knee jerk to me since ive been on here, but this thread is one million per cent knee jerk. The team in seventh cannot catch us unless they turn into world beaters. We re shite, but our early season form has guaranteed a play off place.

Three wins out of these games will make us impossible to be caught, and even if. you have the mindset of kirill or bushlover, you would still think it would be impossible for us to not win three of these games.

We'll see. 30 points to play for & I'm not confident at all that's all I'm saying.

You have seen us all season and you hand on heart think we cant win three out of ten? No, cant believe it, you were always confident that others are worse than us. Whats changed , we played fine against brum, brighton and yeovil.

                        We've been rubbish all season.

I've maintained the same stance & I stick by it that we kept 13 clean sheets from 18-20 odd games & Charlie nicking us goals got us where we are. Now we leak like a sieve & can't score goals.

if we get there and thats a big IF at the moment? we will be knocked straight out all the top 5 or 7 seven would all beat us Wigan Derby Forest Reading. we have a bunch of couldn't give a F**k loanies, sub standard players other than Austin Barton M.Philips Green & Simpson who sadly most are injured,
Think Harry has lost the plot?
Tony has once again had his pants pulled down by his management team,(poor ******* has only clubs best interest at heart)but been shafted payng big wages for Harry's Cronies. who dont give a ****!!!

That seems a fair assessment. Like you think we prob will stumble over the line into the play offs but we need to stop seeing the play offs as a half-way staging post to promotion. If Austin and Philips are back and Harry can somehow get the team playing how they were early this season (not well, but grinding out results by keeping it very tight) we are in with a shout but I would put our odds of promotion now on about 10-20 per cent.
