I am finding it really hard to understand the anti Fernandes comments on here. The guy is trying to give the fans what they want, yes he has made a few mistakes along the way, but it's his money, nothing ventured and all that. I agree that he is the best chairman since Gregory people forget Bulstrode , Thompson , wright tango and cash. All lead us down a road to potential oblivion. Merger with Wimbledon anyone? A home for a rugby club? A boutique club? Charging 200 quid for a pair of slippers in the club shop and extortionate ticket prices. . I can can see both sides to the Harry arguments but not this one. We are lucky to have a chairman who has put his money where his mouth is and is trying to move the club forward

i dont post on the LSA site but always keep an eye on there.
this is a brillaint post from there imo
"Heard on the radio this morning our wage bill is more than both last year's CL finalists. One of them is BAYERN ****ING MUNICH.
We lashed out £30m on hotels last year. Tottenham did £10m less than that and they were in Europe.
The club is sleepwalking into oblivion. I've said it for years and been called negative and unambitious.
As little as one month ago previously sensible people were demanding we bring in the likes of Defoe on mammoth salaries.
The custodians of my club are running it into the ground, and seemingly the only people with the insight to save it have lost faith in football altogether.
There's a hole in my bucket. GAME OVER."

I don't think people hate Fernandes, and no one could question his passion and love for the club, what other chairman would sit with home fans in the loft on match day?
The club though is very badly run, mainly due to too many players on big money and massive transfer fees on players not worth it.
The trouble is Fernandes bought into a dream that he could appoint a big name manager and give them £30m to spend on the squad and think we would finish top 6 in the Premiership, but football doesn't work like that and as a result has been a disaster. I have no idea why they are still planning on building a new stadium with state of the art training facilities as we're not the right club.
It will be interesting to see what the position is in 3 years time.

£30m on hotels. Yeh, right.
Even 50 staff at £400 a night for 25 away games is only half a million quid.Last edited by CroydonCaptainJack; 20-03-2014, 10:54 AM.

if you put up 25 people at say £1000 a night that £25000 a night if you spent 30m on hotels thats 25 people staying 1200 nights in a hotel, now there are on 365 days in a year...why do people believe and post such B

ok the hotels is wrong, cool.
everything else.... the fact we have players on 50k a week who dont make the bench.....
i dont buy into the whole uncle tony loves the club thing, but say its true, it doesnt change the fact that he is crippling us with debt, filling the club with complete *****, and ruining everything about QPR (imo)
even under bernie and flavio things were better, all we've done is go backwards since they left. not that i liked them but come on, at least we got promoted with a team we loved under them, now...
but hey, good old unc might sit near me next game

I read WATRBs and understand why political spin-doctors are so successful.
I wonder how many of the people cheering on TF for drinking in the Conny are all spending this morning going on about Gideon's Bingo Budget for the working classes (pretty much the direct opposite of the truth).

The stuff in the accounts - the wage bill higher than Dortmund's, and so on - is all available in a legally-binding document.
Heads out of the sand people, this is happening.
