if thats the way forward then there has to be a general agreement (amnesty ) among the fans to allow for a period of trial and error, or consolidation..if we spent a couple of seasons in and around the top 10. blooding in young players would people be happy with that? i don't think so.

you only have to look at the hysteria on here that surrounds every transfer window or any loss to see that fans want success and they want it as quick as possible.
Spot on! So many spoilt brats on here it makes me want to cry. But thankfully it doesn't seem to represent the majority of people who actually go to games

The previous email is completely wrong. Mark Hughes was one of the top 5 paid managers in the country (his salary was circ £4.5million a year including bonuses), not Harry (he was on circ £2million when we was in the Premiership and was tiered, going went up based on our final league position - but that never happened). Then at the start of this season Harry was forced to take a large pay cut, BUT that would be topped back up to an equivalent level to that of last season through bonuses in we are promoted this season (for a top 2 finish I believe his bonus is in the region of £2million - but that is now looking unlikely). Harry even validated this himself when he mentioned in one of his press conferences earlier in the season, that he's taken a large pay cut at the start of the season. Unconfirmed numbers in the press circle put him on somewhere around £30k a week, but this has not been confirmed by my usual source, where as the figures for Hughes have.

Or you can choose to believe the Daily Fail who can't make up their mind what Harry's on...

A list has been published in Brazil which places Jose Mourinho at the top of managerial earners in world football - Sir Alex Ferguson is only fourth and England boss Roy Hodgson is last!

Stop going for big names for profile & get a manager off the radar a bit who can work with youngsters. Something Harry clearly can't unless they are rubbish & come from Spurs or Man Utd. More hyped up shite.

I still don't get how he has let this happen though. I don't want to be critical of the guy, he has been great for our club, but we have basically thrown money at has-been players (generally, I know there have been Remi's etc but far more tha have clogged up the squad and we don't play/can't get rid of) for what, three seasons now? He is a very bright businessman, and I am sure he has had people try to hoodwink him in a variety of business actions and with F1.

Does he just have a blind spot here? Surely he doesn't trust people implicitly from the get go? I find it hard to believe he has got where he has today without a degree of caution, suspicion, and hard research into his business areas. Yet here it seems to be a case of him being so keen to make everyone happy, he does whatever he is asked.

Again, not having a go really, just seems really odd in comparison to his other ventures.

Tony set the stage by wanting instant promotion. We fell out of the prem like a lead balloon. The only teams that generally go straight back up are those who fought hard all the way in relegation and then keep most of their players. We did neither. If an owner wants instant promotion from scratch you buy 'trusted players'. You can't run the risk of newbies. You can't get all or any of the players you want. You can't get the strikers you want. You can't buy this league anymore in one season. We and Tony were chasing a hopeless dream fix. Now we know the blinding.

Teams going up that manage to survive are those that only change one or two players a season to keep stability and continuity. Norwich and Swans spring to mind. We do not know the financial implications behind the scenes of our debts and slower promotion. The stadium's a long way off. But if Tony keeps saying everything is fine, then rebuild.

At the moment he is one of the worst chairman's in our history

Has made mistake after mistake and has risked the long term future of the club with his reckless spending. The club is rotten to the core and needs a massive overhaul in terms of attitude and infrastructure.

We need more QPR people behind the scenes who know what QPR is all about until the attitude of the club has changed we will carry on this cycle of sack managers spend money on players bla bla

The only shining light is the possible training ground but only until a spade is in the ground I will believe it when I see it

Tony Fernandes has done everything he could expect from an owner -- he backs us, he cheers for us, he finances us -- but to see the lack of fire and flow in this overly experienced club should insult a fan base that bleeds for this team. In America, faced with a similar challenge, we would change managers, if for no other reason than to signal to the fans that losing, especially the way the Rangers have been, is not acceptable. The answer here is clear; bump Harry upstairs to be an overall senior advisor, and bring in a player's coach who can help Clint Hill and the few who care for QPR on the squad kick this squad into caring. One final observation: why is it that so many of our veteran players (like O'Neill and Benayoun) lack consistent effort? Are they just worth out, or is it they are just collecting a paycheck. In their shoes, I'd want to "go out" with everything I've got, every game, instead of limping into retirement. Is it character, or a reflection of the reality that professional football has become a players-in-it-for-themselves show with spotty loyalty for clubs and their fans?

Why do people assume that sending crap managers "upstairs" is a sensible thing to do?

He has been, is and for as long as he is hanging around, will be the problem.

I think whats confusing about his latest set of tweets, is that he is refusing to note the performance and attitude of the players recently. But then again I suppose he isn't going to do that over Twitter
