Have you seen the details then?

Be interesting to see if we're getting a kit designed, or if it's a team-wear kind of deal.

Exactly what i was wondering. Loads of people saying "great deal" without actually having any information on the deal. Lets make no mistake here, Nike held all the cards in any negotiations, not us, therefore, i doubt this is that great a deal financially but more about Kudos and status being associated with the Worlds leading Sports brand....

It does make me laugh when it highlights Nike have leading marketing and distribution capabilities or whatever was stated. Yeah that's great, but 99% of them wont do anything with the QPR merchandise so counts for didly squat.

Don't disagree but so what? if TF is happy with the deal, which he seems to be it really doesn't concern anyone.

Team wear deal AFAIK with a few add ons probably. Off the shelf kit design (like Bradford, Southend etc etc). Nike don't do unique kit designs for Clubs. Even Barca get "off the peg" designs. Just change the colours around.

My bet is next years kit will be very similar to this years Celtic shirt. Though blue, obviously

The Celtic kit was the one that sprung to mind for me too.

And mine, what a load of old shite. Who needs a kit sponsor deal anyway, id rather we played in skins.
Even then i bet we would still be **** and lose every game. Harry out!

Nah fark it,,i cant bite my lip and keep quiet. This forum is a farking joke and some of you moaners should be ashamed of yourselves. This is brilliant news and a real coup to get a massive world wide major company like Nike involved and is great news for a small championship club like us. Terrific work by the people behind the scenes who sort this stuff out, and five years will be worth bundles and is a huge amount of time and contract. You lot who do what you do every day, just keep on whinging and whining on as per usual though yeah. What is it you actually want from this football club? Cos i honestly dont think you will ever get it. Rant over.

Fair question but as others have said TF seems happy with it and for little old QPR to get a deal with Nike is quite something so I'll remain positive about it.

I still prefer the Influence shirts we had in the 90's with the fluorescent yellow trim!

Some of you are ridiculous, why would we change supplier if it wasn't a better deal? FFs come on surely some of you are not as thick as you make out.

Not just changed supplier, but changed to the worlds largest sports brand.

Football Shirt Culture is the world's first and longest-running football kits and product news website.

I'm sure we'll get a better deal than Orient, Doncaster, Scunthorpe etc but let's not get too carried away here, especially without knowing any numbers. Nike have kit deals with a lot of clubs, doesn't make us special.
