  • Ok ... Harry Redknapp tactics

I have been reading on this board for a while...I am interested in why a majority of people seem to hate Harry...

Below are a selection of quotes I have found .....
    "Minus: His tactical abilty? Subs?"

"Minus He didn't bring in another striker"

"Minus - Plays his favourites and bombs others (why no SWP when we have been struggling as an example)"

    "Minus: No clear tactics."

"He has lost the plot,he needs to go now( not at end of season),we need a QPR man, come back Oilly."

I would like to know exactly what tactics you would use that a football manger of 28 years experience

So you don't fancy our chances against Wednesday then? what ever happens it'll be a tough game just because of all our injuries.

Fock that Redknapp for getting all our players injured... ba$tard!!!

The short and abrupt answer to the original question is that, if by now, all the mistakes he has made are still not obvious to you, there really is no point whatsoever in explaining them yet again.

Despite thinking him extremely out of touch with the modern game, I still want nothing more than to see us get promoted with him this season. The fact that we now need to achieve this via the play offs, says it all.

The main beef I have with him is the boring, boring, boring, football he has us playing. We are Queens Park Rangers and we have always been entertainers. That is who we are and unless HR gets that through his skull then he has to go. Even if we were in Leicester's place with our boring, boring, boring football I still would not be happy. You can play entertaining football and still win. The former is a conscious decision and the latter will happen or not depending on many factors.

I'm not calling for his head just yet and things do seem to be improving. On the results front, I think he is underachieving given the resources at his disposal but not by a huge margin. And we still could go up and that will be the ultimate test of success or failure for this season. Promoted=Success, Not Promoted=Failure; it is as simple as that.

Agreed, but HR has taken us to new lows and it is time we turned things around. I don't get to watch many matches these days but this season's 0-0 draw with Brighton was the most boring match I have ever seen QPR play, and by quite a stretch. And the others include a dire 2-0 home loss to Plymouth on a rainy Tuesday evening, but at least we were actually trying to score that day, even if we weren't very good at it!

Not only that we played much better at Brighton and yet lost 0-2. Funny old game innit.

Just goes to show the game is black and white and only about goals:

If you win youre a good team and play well....If you lose youre a shite team who cant play for toffee.

his persistence with 1 man up front, especially at home, has been a major mistake. Today Liverpool took United to the cleaners playing Suarez, Sterling and Sturridge

Spot on with that Stan.....it's all about winning imo, would taking boring and under par performance 1-0 victories for QPR all day long. A good performance coupled with a win is a bonus.
